I dont know what else can be said. This video says it all.

But you can also take a look at the repulsive bias from UNESCO - the UNs science, education and culturual organization, and read about how they claim all historical jewish religious sites also belong to Muslims (the cave of macpelah ie the tomb of the patriarchs, rachels tomb,) or how they literally said in a recent publication that the Jewish philosopher and physician maimonides was a muslim.

UN bias against Israel?

I think you got the words "against" and "for" mixed up.

Cool video!

I agree with you, and you also have to think about the riots in the middle-east.
Everything caused by democracy, and hidden under the name of democracy.

And back to Israel, how can they just take another country?
But that is the american government style.

Maby its because Israel has caused more problems than any other nation on earth in the last 50 years..

Illegal nuclear weapons..
False flag terrorist attacks..
Iradiating its own children in medical experiments..
Bombing allied ships in order to draw allies in to wars..
Creating the largest prison camp in the world in Gaza city..
Treating Arabs as animals...
Interfering in other nations affairs..
Robbing and counterfiting passports from other nations...
carrying out extra judicial assinations in foreign countrys..
Bribing, manipulationg and usurping foreign governments..
Murdering peacefull protesters..
Creating malicous computer viruses...
using paid trolls to hijack and manipulate the blogsphere..
and too many other things to list in full...

Did you ever think the bias could be stemming from this?

No.. didnt think so

You reap what you sow my friend...

The many condemnations may have been possible due to the non aligned nations voting together. I see it more as a failure of the UN to give voice to human rights in general than singling out Israel.

Israel may not be the worst kid on the block, but that does make their slow genocide any better.

Zionism may not be racism, but it does have similar characteristics. The believe that one group has certain characteristics, rights, and systems superior to other groups. Mainly that the Zionists believe they have a superior right to the lands occupied by a different demographic due to cultural heritage. This believe than justifies repression much in the same way racial ideology justifies one racial group dominating another.

What about 40% of all human rights council resolutions against Israel dont you understand?

Did you see the other countries listed? We all know the horrific situation in Darfur, aswell as the inherent injustices in China, and North Korea.

What about this doesnt logically announce itself as completely and utterly biased to you???!!!

You merely prove to what extents those who hate Jews will go to. How else can i explain your sheer disregard of the facts??? You either hate Jews, and are seeking to incite anti-semitism, or you have something severely wrong with your reasoning abilities. In that you are so possessed by an unconscious dislike and prejudice against a particular group that you use your "reasoning" abilities to attack them disproportionately.

Justice will always, as is usual, be on the side of the Jews. The UNs own staggering bias exposes itself. Unfortunately, the easily suggestible types will not allow the light of reason to change their prejudiced attitudes. They are the same as those Nazis and Nazi sympathizers who had "reason" - an insane reason - to think Jews need to be exterminated. In this example, the Jew of the nations - Israel - needs to be exterminated.

The Israeli Government is a classic case where it plays the victim card to carry out more evil and unlawful acts. No wonder people in Israel are starting to protest as they are starting to see that their Government will do everything else rather than keep its business to solve domestic problems.

Illegal nuclear weapons..

Theyre not apart of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty, and so therefore, they are not illegal.

False flag terrorist attacks..

And whos making these accusations? seemingly everything negative that happens in the world is attributed to Israel. Literally. You can either logically attribute this to Jew hatred, or you can believe the hype, the same way that ethnic Germans believed the hype that Jews were behind communism, or in earlier times, as Marx ( a Jew) and Ford said, that Jews were behind Capitalism. Seemingly anything that any group percieves as an evil is attributed to the Jews. Are you going to wake up and see this for what it logically is?

Iradiating its own children in medical experiments..

This indeed happened, and it was disgusting. But Iraq did a similar thing on a much larger scale to the Kurds.

In anycase, did you not read the numbers? why do you always look for escuses? Sudan has killed manifold times more human beings in the last few years than Israel has killed in its entire history. Its actually quite paltry in comparison. 46,000 verses atleast 3 million. Most of them black animist and muslims. Perpetuated by the northern lighter skinned Arabs. But of course - THIS is not racism.

Just based on the hebrew characters in your avatar, I would hazard a guess that you have no small measure of bias yourself. However, I would like to remind the readers that bias against the GOVERNMENT of Israel is NOT bias against Jewish people. Anyone who would suggest such a thing is just as guilty of racism as the people they condem.

I am going to say this just once, and really hope you understand it, so that is serves you and your lot as a guideline for things to come:

The new generation of Americans is different from that of our fathers and grandfathers. We are more educated, sensitive and aware. We are not fooled so easily (as ats can attest).

We, the vast majority of the younger generation, don't believe in Israel's lies anymore. We won't be manipulated by Israel anymore. We are growing increasingly tired of Israel's hypocritical demeanor and self serving rightousness. We are disgusted by the way you treat your neighbors in general, and the infrahuman treatment you give to palestinians. Violence breeds violence.

We are willing to act accordingly to our believes and push our representatives to cut the blind and reckless support that our government has given you in these decades.

Make of that what you will. The future is ours, not yours.

The times they are a changing.

END ISRAELI APARTHEID NOW.

Israel is the only nation that does not disclose its nuclear arsenal to IAC, many see this as illegal.

You are on ATS, be serious if you to be taken seriously. Israel is not the only interest behind 9/11, but they are a part of it and the world knows it. The world is quite annoyed at it. You just need to look at how the Israel boarders have grown since the 1950's to see who is the main aggression in the region.

How is that remotely relevant here? Am i being biased? Is it biased for me to say that the UN since the late 70s has become increasingly anti-Israel? You saw the video. The FACTS of the situation SHOULD correlate with the UNs human rights resolutions. You saw the GROSS disproportion. Should Israel be chastized? Well, thats sort of like a medic attending to a soldier with a dislocated finger, verses attending to hundreds of his mortally wounded comrades. A broken finger IS an issue, but should it take priority to much more serious injuries?

If the UN human rights council is truly and unequivocally concerned about human rights, than China, Nigeria, Sudan, North Korea, Cambodia, Syria, should be their top priorities, and thus should occupy most of their attention.. The fact that Israel has taken up 40% of their attention is flaggrantly offensive. Offensive to the very purpose of the human rights council. If i were from anyone of the above countries, or if i cared a shred about human rights, i would be incredibly upset. Upset because they are squandering their energies and time on Israel and not on those others, much more serious abusers of humans rights.

But for some absurd reason, so many people here have a problem looking at this situation squarely. They have to ignore this wider perspective, and list some of Israels offences to once agai njustify themselves. But they justify nothing but their own prejudice against Israel.

However, I would like to remind the readers that bias against the GOVERNMENT of Israel is NOT bias against Jewish people. Anyone who would suggest such a thing is just as guilty of racism as the people they condem

How do you figure? Israel is the Jewish nation; or the Jew of the nations, in terms of the UN. Its merely a macrocosmic manifestation of the same ancient anti-semitism.

Bull#.
Israel is an abomination, created by the same folks that gave us the federal reserve and central banking.
Furthermore, you cannot separate Israel and the U.S. any more, not since Kennedy.
Americans should call Israel "daddy".

Wait. So you represent every young american???

You sound like one of those annoying college "idealists" who drink up the propaganda of their politically motivated liberal professors. It reminds me of the way farmers force feed ducks to harvest their livers - served as foie gras. Only in this case - the ducks are you. The farmers are the liberal intellectuals. And the livers symbolizes your lifefroce. Your entire lifeblood becomes devoted to someone elses idol.

What a waste of a life.

Im a young Canadian (north american culture being essentially the same) and i thoroughly and completely disagree with these fear tactics youre attempting to use on me. As if i should just give up on my beliefs because you - the representative of todays nihilistic (yes, the truth is, liberals are the biggest conartists of all. No person is more "liberal" towards misue of power, then liberals. The appelation is quite literal!) culture, says i should.

As we are seeing in Egypt Libya, and elsewhere, the "democratic revolutions" the western media has been indoctrinating us to believe during the Arab spring, was merely a front to "democratically" dispose already pro-western governments like Hosni Mubarak, Al assad in Syria, etc, to later on install a religious Muslim government which will enforce Shari'a law. And you know what? Good. The western liberal establishment - pushing their neo-pagan agenda the world over, DESERVES to be opposed. They refuse any other philosophy or way of life to coexist beside it. This is why they always play the "equality" card. Yes. Equality indeed. See Eugenics, the popular doctrine of "liberals" and "progressives". Hitler, and the Nazi party, Stalin, and teh communist party, they represented two different sides of the humanist, liberal post christian world agenda. Look at the leader of UNESCO - the UNs education, science and culture organization. A bulgarian communist party member. Suprise? Not to me. The UN is pushing socialism on everyone. Im not against a United nations type concept, but i am against one that blacklists any group that goes against its secularizing agenda.

Anwyays, back to Muslims. Muslims on the whole - as in the majority of muslims - reject western values, because they represent the WESTERN, post christian worlds psyche. It is NOT their heritage, and democratically speaking, they have every right to oppose democratic values if the majority feels that way. This is exactly what they have done in Egypt with the muslim brotherhood leading in the latest election polls. Come September, we shall see the fruits of their "democratic revolution", and those fruits will be quite rotten for Israel.

The majority of Muslims dont share Western Beliefs; and so western concepts like democracy, freedom of speech etc, all of which conflict with the fundamental spirit of Islam (Shari'a), which literally means "to submit", is probably never going to be accepted there barring some WW3 type scenario. Where the religious fundamentalists can be systematically wiped out and a new ethos - western values - properly ingrained. Thus, if this situation currently exists in Egypt - Palestines ideological twin, why on earth would Palestine ever become a viable pro-western democracy? Have you heard of Hamas? Oh, im sure to you they are "freedom fighters" to you. I guess any group that can get rid of Jews is a good thing to Liberals.

Im sure the world is moving "forward", but to say towards democracy would be a bit naive. By "forward", i mean, a religious war. Islam is an implaccable enemy of western democracy, egalitarianism, and especially liberal materialism. If someone cannot understand how this is so obviously so, than i can only assume that such a person is completely brainwashed.

So you think Israel deserves 40% worth of the UNs human rights councils condemnations??

What about those actual human rights situations in Sudan, Nigeria, China, Cambodia, North Korea, Syria, and elsewhere??

I feel like you cant properly answer this question, because you dont "know enough". If the media made this an issue, it would be an issue. Like a parrot, you need your thoughts made up for you.

How many nations comprise this `communist` and `muslim` voting block ? It is no where near 160-170 countries is it ?

--------

Is it not often just the U.S.A , Micronesia, Vanautu, Marshall Islands and a handful of other small nations that vote against these resolutions more often than not ...?

-------

You make it sound like a Commie/Arab conspiracy ..... instead such resolution votes are essentially the majority of the worlds nations *saying enough is enough.

*******
Maybe Israel is being held to a higher standard -

...... that of a Democracy .

Be that as it may, does it change anything about the basic premise of the video - that Israel recieves a disproportionate degree of attention???

40%. Why does everyone change the subject. This site should have a poll option. Do you agree with this? Should the UNs human rights council be focusing 40% of their time and energy on Israel?

This is why the video made the comparison between Israel and Nigeria, Sudan, North Korea, China and Cambodia. Far grosser cases of human rights abuses abound in these countries. Why are they ignoring these issues? Even combined their condemnations dont even reach the 40% that Israel has recieved.

Does this not even arouse a little bit of suspicioun??

Seriously... This is a perfect example of collective insanity.

The irrationality of ones emotions - his prejudice - inhibting him or her from squaring his perception with objective reality.

Thank God. I dont have that problem. I can clearly see that Israel recieves too much attention.

You do realize you sound exactly like Behring Breivik, right? You know, the righteous norwegian who slaughtered 70 persons "to save western civilization from communism and muslims"? You really are walking a very thin line with the discourse you're spousing.

Thankfully, for every one of your kind, there are thousands of us.

I personally could not care less for such bigoted and narrow-minded people like you.

Good luck in your crusade and the next bloodbath, you chauvinistic freak.

Sounds like you have some bias too. People in glass houses should not throw stones.

With that said, I will concede that there are anti-semetic people who distort the facts to make jews look bad for bigoted reasons.

At the same time, there are those who criticize Israel for objective reasons, and rightfully so. Nothing should be immune from the application of scrutiny, as it will either prove the facts, or discredit them. Also, there are those who are willing to exhonorate Israel of any and all wrong doing, and even illigitimize critics by calling them anti-semetic or what have you. Sometimes they are, and sometimes they are not.

The truth, as always, is somewhere in between.

Why does Israel receive a disproportionate degree of attention?

Is it because Israel is a democracy ?

I am obviously no expert on such UN resolutions but are they not often the same body of text being resubmitted year after year with only the USA and a handful of island nations voting against them.

Perhaps dictatorships are seen as a rather lost cause when it comes to responding to such calls to change their ways ... but Israel , a modern nation espousing `western values` might be expected to be the shining light it once envisioned itself to be. .
