I doubt they'd allow paintball. You know, liability issues

First I'll have to see if my parents will even let me. Turns out, it's way past Baltimore, around the Bel Air area. Plus $67 a ticket.

But if I am able to go, I'll let you know and it should be fun
FYI, we should make a facebook group. "ATS Baltimore 5K Zombie Run 2011"

Oh that is so cool. Nix, if you hear about anything like this in Texas let me know.

Id love to take part in a race like that. It just sounds fun.

Or maybe I could play one of the zombies

We need sponsers. *laughs*
A facebook group is a great idea. Bel Air is probably about an hour from me. I can always come get you.

What happens when one of the humans uses a baseball bat to smash a zombies head? The course is going to get pretty slippery then.

Nice. They've been doing this in Denver for a while now. There are even people dressed as victims who run away and eventually get eaten by the zombies.

The best part is when people dont know its a zombie walk. It really freaks them out

haha, I bet thats funny! Man, Why can't they do this in Dallas or something?

This sounds like a blast... And I have just enough time to prepare!
I'm going to see if I can actually do this. What a trip! Thanks for sharing OP!

For those who do get to go run this race... Keep in mind, that color of clothes may be important.

Think about it.... Depending on the environment, you may want to wear clothes that will help you blend in better... Might make it harder for you to be spotted by the zombies.

There are also Mud Runs, Warrior Dashes, Challenge Courses, Zombie Hunters (my favorite pseudo militia ever!), and many other interesting ways to get outside and exercise and practice your skills!!

I was thinking of camoflauge.
Mossme needs to run because he needs to take the video, I will consider it a huge achievement if I make it to the first obstacle.

ok, now to get my sorry rear from zero to 6 miles.

and thank god for netflix.

I would so love to join!

But with me in Sweden, and a visit to the states first in November, it makes this impossible, guess I have to start something similar here in Sweden instead ^^

Take the video? What do you mean?

Here are some pics:

-___- Idk, it looks pretty lame. I was kind of expecting zombies to be chasing after people. Seems like they just hide and then pop out. Still not sure if I'll go. It's pretty pricy at $67 per entry.

The pics look pretty staged. I think this is their first event so they may not have shots yet. It is a race first and foremost and an obstacle course, and its sponsored by the American Red Cross.

Possibly. I still have to give it some thought on whether I'll do it or not. Maybe next year if it's good this year.

I hope this spreads to other cities and countries, if they ever had that in Vancouver, i'd go home the champ

I got speed, stealth but most importantly, a brain, your best friend in zombieland.

From what I see on their facebook site, if enough interest can be generated in an area, they will look to have it there.

You know you don't have to pay to be a zombie.

Well, considering like half of ATS is going to be there, I'd be more concerned that I'd be shot by survivalists than anything else...
