The article states radioactive fish have been found in the Connecticut River, the source of the plants cooling. The fish had been infected with
Strontium 90. It had been previously reported that the plant has had fires and equipment malfunctions. March 2012 is when the plants operating license
expires and there is a widespread push for it not to be renewed. I find it despicable the owner of the company, Entergy, is pushing for the plant to
run for another 20 years. They have to know even more than us of the plants lack of safety.
