That dude was on ACID! Pure silliness. Telling the lady cop that American is not a nationality and that she needed a green card in HIS country. He did not look like any Native American I have ever seen either.

the man said they picked up his son without cause, and the police didn't disagree, so i'm going to assume they were being racist.

Actually they can. Just cause the officers wear a uniform does not stop them from using their civil rights against a person. And in this case, they may very well have a case for such, as the gentleman who shot the video tape put this on youtube. While it may seem trivial, it all depends on what happens next in this case. If the guy does nothing to persue this, then chances are they could drop the entire matter, however, if he chooses to persue this, then could bring charges against him in a civil case, or even counter sue him on those grounds, using this video and the fact he posted such on the internet as a means to slander and for defamation of character. He did such to be malicious, and in an attempt to cause them grief with the general public and with their point of employment. As the video tape showed really no wrong doing on their part, no violence, no abuse of authority, not even anyone getting attacked by them, shot or injured the question must be asked as to why post it then? The only conclusion would be to cause them strife and harm, including to create an air of adversity with malicious intent to either get them fired or to put them into harms way.
Make no mistake, I am very much for video taping the police and their actions, but such should also be done with the responsiblity to show both the good and the bad parts of what the police are doing, not to be malicious or with the intent to damage the credibility of the police. His posting of this video, when there is obviously nothing there to warrent such, the quesiton would be raised as to why do such?

There must be more to the story I don't think this is the first run in with guy.
First cop "No-We are bringing your child back to you". The guy says "I've been seeing European children walking around here all day no one has picked them up, they say my child has not breached the peace at all but they picked him, so' yea you are useless".
Then he trys to incite them with insulting them with race. It sounds like this has happened before in the end the guy says.
'No- I will see you! before I let you slide not now! kidnapping- look at all these colonizers your losing your power across the planet''.

Your are an officer of the law and after 2 minutes you wanted to punch this guy in the mouth? You are an officer of the law you call this man a "retarded piece of trash" and you don't even know the whole story?

Deny Ignorance.

How is that?
Never seen nor heard of a cop arresting a juvenile, taking the kid to the house, telling the parent they were arrested and then down on to the station.
Doesn't happen.

Really? I got arrested when I was 11 years old and guess what they took me to juvi without calling my parents or nothing. I was booked and processed and held for 4 hours before they let me call my parents. All this because I was an immigrant and didn't speak English to defend myself. The charges were BS and they dropped them after everything was said and done. So YA they do arrest juveniles.

You have to walk a mile in a foreigner shows in this country then you might know what its REALLY like.

Ok, but did they take you home first?
Nope. Thanks for the anecdotal story line.

They said they was "bringing him back" back from where...we can't say.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that child was a minor and that parent had a right to be present while his son was being interrogated so, he might have a suit on his hands.

Okay I'm all for standing up to the police and taping police and showing the corrupt. But this guy is just a rambling moron. He talks about black and white as identifiers? Of course they say black male/ white male its a descriptive word not a racial word. And UN UN UN? We're in America we have our own constitution that has nothing to do with the UN. I want to know why the cops had his son in the first place. Maybe the kid did something wrong. This just seems to me like some moron spouting off non relative things because he's in a bad mood... I hate taking the side of the cops but in this case they seemed quite reasonable.

I really enjoyed watching this... Regardless of the details behind it (and also, yes, some of the things he said were a bit off), it was funny to see how even among multiple officers, he seemed to have a sense of control over all of them. Keep in mind I am pro authority and don't hold a grudge against law enforcement agencies, but it was still interesting to see how at the end of it, he won.

And also I don't feel like punching that guy in the mouth (like one previous poster) because I'm not racist, and like to see a father stand up for his son like that.

Oh yes, they were quite reasonable, in that they did not end up beating/shooting/tasing the man and were able to stay cool, calm and professional throughout the encounter - that I will give you.

The headline of the thread is very misleading. They were bringing the child home, not taking him away, hence "kidnapping" is more than a little over the top.

I am also disturbed by how little everyone cares about knowing the whole story. There has to have been *something* - some reason - for the reactions of everyone involved. How can you cheer for him when you don't know what really happened??

Good for him, and good thing he had a camera on him or it probably would have went down the other way.

no the point hes making is, if his kid is in no trouble why do the cops feel the need to escort him back to his house.

I am all for standing up for your rights against anyone.

I don't know why they had his kid in the car and can't comment on that BECAUSE I don't know the whole story.

What I can comment on was the guy was acting like a fool and I believe may have some issues.

Good it turned out like it did though.

I know how cool it is to jump on any law enforcement story and bash cops but NOBODY has a clue what all this was about just by watching this clip. Maybe the guy is a well known goof ball and they didn't want to hassle with him.....

So all white people are from England and need a green card, but he said this was his country. Were black people indigenous to North America????

Can you people not hear?

They didn't pick him up for anything, they were bringing him home.
His extremist father saw a chance to make a scene and get some good footage at his kids expense.

Why were they bringing him home?

That's the million dollar question the guy says "my child has not breached the peace at all but they picked him".
We only hear one side of the story there has got to be a reason the cops picked him. I'm sure they are not just being a taxi service.
