That it's been said for 2.000 years and never happened, is ofcourse not a reason for not saying it again.

Because THIS time it surely will happen. And if not this time, then the next. Or the next. And for those with endless patience, the sun will eventually burn out or become a nova or whatever and future prophets can triumphantly say: "What did we tell you", before everybody freezes to death or are burned to cinders.

well, you will have to pardon my skeptism. People have been saying the time is now for eons, so hard to get worked up about it. Plus, the Bible is very clear about not paying heed to false prophets. A prophet becomes false the instant an untruth passes fromt hem, and you lied by saying you were Jesus, therefore anything you can predict or claim becomes false. I am not saying the time isnt approaching, or that the time isnt in the near future - no one knows. but i just take your word for it that it is now. i hope you understand. when speaking on behalf of the Lord, much more care and respect needs to be taken. it is not something you do on a whim - it is something you can only do if bidden by Christ Himself, and even then, you must pass His message along verbatim, changing not one jot, and never claiming to be the source.

Considering the endless supply of 'truths' in circulation, mankind should have been thoroughly enlightened a long time ago.

Instead we see 'truths' clashing with each other constantly, because some of the lights are so small or weak, that they need safety in numbers and burn with missionary zeal, instead of just casting whatever feeble light they actually can.

i agree - but see no real truth in the OP.
I see truth all around me, as i know where to find it. I also know where I will not find it, and it will not be from someone claiming to be Jesus when they are in fact not. That should be pretty easy reasoning to follow!!
