is their ever going to be a day that you can post without making the poster the subject of the thread?

seems to me a clear lack of understanding of ats terms and conditions.

So the rich are the job creators.
You are worth over a billion dollars.
You have created no jobs.

I am sure I am missing something and you will rudely respond with some deflective snark but I believe I have a real question in that.

Actually, I often take the time to respond to your baseless talking points with detailed, factual refutations. But last time I did that you told me you were ignoring me. Why the change of heart?

Nice revert there, because people have countered your stance and challenged your notion of being a billionaire they are trolls?

What was that about comprehension skills again?

ETA: People are stating opinions about the title of the thread, did you just want a bunch and YES and NO responses? It's gone off topic because you claimed you were one of the people the thread title refers to.

always on connection and i never turned off my computer guess noone bothers to read time and date stamps on here.

What are you talking about? I have no idea when you are connected or not. I am looking at the time and date stamps. You spend way too much time on ATS to be worth the billions you claim unless there is something severely missing from the story.

from my vantage theres a clear lack of reading and comprhension skills on this site.

From mine, there is a lot of false assumptions and prevaricative pablum. Nice to have different views, huh?

and for the reading imparied whats the title of the thread ?

It is a question that is being answered for you up one side and down the other.

The purpose of people like neo is to try and get people to engage in deeply divided partisan talking points. I'd say everyone in this thread thus far has done a great job of refuting his talking points without responding with other laughable talking points, but, rather, with reason.Goo job all!

I'm all for everyone paying their fare share of taxes.
Be it rich or poor.
What is wrong is trickle down economics DOES NOT WORK!
Never has.
Now all these bubbles they've created have propped up a dieing system.
But it's all coming to an end.
Out sourcing jobs is just Wrong!
No it's stupid!
Oh and heads up people the next bubble to burst...Health care.
It will be the last one for sure.

The Progressive Tax should be eliminated anyway. I personally find it offensive and discriminating that the government splits classes in this country by making those who make more pay more to the government while those who make less, pay less.

How about we establish an affordable Flat Tax?

Doubt our country will ever head towards that direction, but hey, one can dream.

The way I see it all..... I don't have but 10 dollars in my name. I can't find work and the house I live in is falling apart.

But just because of my life, I am not going to take a whole countries right to make money, how they see fit, for my own financial gain.

That is what this is all about..... Financial gain. One person has it, the other person wants it. An open market causes any one, to be able to make money how ever they see fit (even illegally).

You can make nicnacks and sell them and you can take off your underwear and auction them on a website. But it is when it is regulated and taxes become apart of it, all the gain seems to be shifted to one way or an other.

If we got rid of all the these regulations on our lives, we could regulate our self's and buy and sell what ever we want.
little kids could sell lemonade and people can sell medication and regulate it how they see fit.

No more IDs and SSCs to do business. Just a hand shake, a good or service and payment. No longer waiting 1-2 weeks for the bank to issue your payment for hard work.

I dunno..... it just feels that is we could take the regulation that has been put on the people.......... Free up the market........ pay a flat tax for every one no matter what they make..... Cut out the bureaucracy..... We could buy and sell what ever WE want to and wouldn't have to ingest the crap the big business produces and they would lose out.

Free up this regulated market! take the taxes out of the argument! and lets get this solved all ready.

Funny thing. There is not likely anyone here on ATS that would be considered the "Rich". Middle class people who vote for republicans because they think they are keeping their own taxes low are well, misiformed...if your middle class and voting for a Tea Partier your hurting yourself. lol. You think the tea part is hear to save your middle class income from tax? Nope its not.

Somebody please tell me exactly what the dems are doing to cut taxes. Please! LOL

Super idea. Have any children? I make my own children's "tylenol" in my basement. The bottle looks really cool and I have a great handshake.

Is it odd that Neo had no real backup in this thread until he suddenly decided to take a break and suddenly the cavalry seems to be showing up? Just something that seemed to stand out to me.

What some people love to forget is that rich individuals can leave. They don't have to live in your state or this country. They are being driven out to states with lower taxes and/or other countries with lower taxes.
So very greedy to expect the rich to subsidize waste and handouts to people who are perfectly capable of working but won't. Enough socialism already. The rich people I know worked darn hard for it - they didn't just find a big pile of money on the floor.

That is a claim often made. Can you provide some examples of individuals leaving the country to benefit from lower taxes?

yes actually I have 2 and 1 on the way. see the great thing about the free market is.... I have the right to say no.
Do you see how that works?

Just because you sell it and it could possibly kill me...... Does not mean I am going to buy it and die. I'll purchase what I want

I believe all people are created equal. So we should make every single person pay the exact same percent of there earnings and that goes for business as well. I hear people say the rich should pay more. My question is why because someone or they did something right and made there self succesful that's not fair. I know people that make way less than my wife and I but go on more vactions, have nicer cars, bigger tvs, more clothes and shoes than we do and get back bigger tax returns better cell phones when they don't work but get assistance from the government for bills insurance and food the whole system is a joke anymore reward people for being lazy so that way the need the government and give more power to the government wake up people and become someone your proud of.

No one suggested you had to buy what I was selling. While your children are sick, please take the time to check with every other person selling medication that is not regulated as well. I am sure eventually you will find that super altruistic healer you are looking for and just in time at a fair price I am sure.

LOL woooooo spooookkkkkyyyyy lol No........ I will go to chemists that I trust that I have a long track record with..... or ill have her chew on some willow bark lol.

All joking aside..... you are trying to use horrible scare tactics to make me want to give up my freedom of choice and do what you want me to do. It is very sad that you have to stoop to that level. I am a human parent and I was born capable of taking care of my human child.

I don't need a government to tell me how.

Yes, I am sure your unregulated Utopia will be full of trustworthy chemists driven only by the goal of making sure your kids feel ok without regard to profit. Your imaginary world sounds just great. Meanwhile your daughter is chewing on bark to help her feel better from an illness we have not yet even disclosed. Thank goodness you are not her doctor.

I am being realistic. Some things do need to be regulated by someone not interested in the profits made. Medicine is on the top of that list. To even suggest regular folks selling medication based on a handshake sounds like a great 3rd world country to me. What happens when that trusted chemist accidentally kills your kid? You will not shop with him anymore and that will show him. Free market whoo hoo!
