Rich Germans are willing to pay more taxes, why aren't rich Americans?

In the spirit of moving the dialogue in this country further to the left by making crazy, absolutist statements along the same lines as the absolutist demands from the far right, I think the left should be demanding we nationalize all wealth and guillotine all the billionares. Then, when the moderates say they want to raise the tax rate of the top 1% of wealth holders in this nation to a level similar to those you and I pay,it will seem downright reasonable by comparison.

Pretty much and we have the poor working overtime so it's not like there's nothing trickling in.
