Well, I'd say that Mark had the intention of creating an awesome business, got wealthy, loved that feeling of wealth, and was bought out early on by special interests which would then point Facebook into a direction of becoming the ultimate hub of all online activity. Many may not realize this, but soon, your Facebook account may very well end up being your Internet ID - don't be surprised if some day they require credentials to verify your account.

Now, as I said earlier, it's likely these special interests were government or some type of intel contractor. When someone screws up, a quick search would quickly reveal an enormous amount of information on an individual's online and offline activity (E.g. Places you Check In to - a native feature). And guess what, all there needs to be is a simple subpoena or court order and your entire world can be turned upside down and then dumped into a cardboard box. And you wouldn't be able to do a damn thing about it. (Same applies to your Google accounts).

"We may disclose information pursuant to subpoenas, court orders, or other requests (including criminal and civil matters) if we have a good faith belief that the response is required by law."

The irony I see, is that Facebook uses these complex 'Privacy Settings' as an illusion to convince people they are protecting themselves in every which way possible from other individuals, all the while people should be concerned with Facebook itself.

Rule of thumb: Don't put all of your eggs into one basket.

"Chairs thrown and tables toppled,
Hands armed with broken bottles,
Standing no chance to win but,
We're not running, we're not running.

There's a point I think we're missing,
It's in the air we raise our fists in,
In the smiles we cast each other,
My sister, my brother!

About the time we gave up hoping
We'd ever find these locks still open,
Stumbling on stones unturned,
The hurt we feel, we all have earned.

The lines we cross in search of change,
But all they see is treason.

Although we have no obligation to stay alive
On broken backs we beg for mercy, we will survive
(Break out) I won't be left here
Behind closed doors.

Bonfires burn like beacons,
Guiding the lost and weakened.
Flames dance on crashing waves,
Guiding ships who've gone astray

Time out, let's stop and think this through,
We've all got better things to do,
Than talk in circles, run in place,
Answers are inches from our face.

Although we have no obligation to stay alive
On broken backs we beg for mercy, WE WILL SURVIVE!
(Break out) I won't be left here
Behind closed doors!

Black eyes, broken fingers,
Blood drips and I let it run
Down my lips into my swollen gums.
When hope is non-existent,
Our instincts all scream "Run!"
We never turn our backs or even bite our tongues.

Although we have no obligation to stay alive
On broken backs we beg for mercy, we will survive!
(Break out) I won't be left here
Behind closed doors!"

Viva la revolucion! That is all
