Photoshop Cartoons.

I know that many members like tinkering with pictures and good manipulated pictures are a real art form.I know others who aren't expert on photoshop have great ideas for manipulated images and a great sense of humour.

A good manipulated photo can fly around the internet as quick as a virus.Really good ones do the rounds over and over again.

Does anyone fancy setting up a bit of friendly humour based teamwork creating these mini masterpieces ?

If so sign up here and make this forum one of your regular stops.

If you're great or even just getting started on Photoshop then you can be the artists.

If you haven't got a clue (like me ) then you can provide ideas and images with potential.

The more topical the better.If we come up with a topical beauty I'll see about it getting an ATSNN Cartoon rating.

Im here with you, I know A little, by no means am I an artist.

That's no problem.This is a team.

If we get something going I'll try and get a watermark put in the image with the teamname and ATS so that if it does the tour of the net it knows where it's home is.

I see a star trek vulcan.

Star Trek Uniform,fingers seperated in the vulcan greeting,vulcan ears,and the star trek logo in the background instead of the U.S seal.

No, His fingures should be split, vulcan greeting. Very funny. Nice.

But, that would be for sure hoax. Are you looking to make something that could almost be?

funny jokes that will make people smile are better.

Cool idea JB1 - I only have a limited understanding of photoshop, but I'm not too bad with it...I used to work with a photoshop genious and he imparted a few skills to me.

I only have access to it right now when I'm at work - once I get my computer fixed at home I'll have more play time...I'll mess around with some of the images you have here and see what I come up with...

The tough part was moving the fingers. When you move something you don't have the background image to fill in the part that you moved. I had to replicate his shirt and jacket that would have been behind his fingers. All in all It looks fairly convincing.

Funny I got frustrated with the fingers, I am useing Adobe Elements. heard of it?

You couldn't give him a uniform could you Kinglizard?

Yeah I have Elements too. I prefer Photoshop but but Elements can do almost everything that Photoshop can do. Do you know how to work with layers? That's the key to everything.
