Two things:

1) Yes, the Dog Star (the star of Anpu) is very important.

BUT

2) Its power is not muted by being covered on Google Sky. It doesn't work that way.

It's covered simply because it's too bright.

Astrology is very powerful, and it's not something that would be affected by Google

What the f?
IF that star HAD any power (I wont argue that point here) WHY would it be affected by how it is displayed on a computer program that is run by some people.
If you look at the sky, THERE IT IS!..
And if you REALLY want to get FACTS you SHOULDN'T use google freaking sky!
Researchers have massive online archives available for astrometrics and a lot of other fields, for FREE!
And you get to see Sirius Unbound...
A little common sense, please...

Back all the way out of Google Sky.

See it's just a portion of the sky patched together? A very small portion of the sky......very poorly patched together.
