because you are focused on the lady in the picture... its unlikely you would have noticed anyone down there.. maybe they came into shot very quickly and went away again..

as your attention is elsewhere.. you didnt see her

I'm more interested in the white box headed person in the picture.

The man walking in the right is already a little blurred. That little girl running behind your wife will really look like that in your pic. You did not see her when you took the photo because you were already looking in your camera and it will take a few seconds before you will take the shot. You will focus the camera first on your subject and that is more than enough time for the little girl to enter the pic especially that she is running. She barely made it to your camera.

I do understand what your saying but,if it is a little girl ,why would her head appear pink?when I look at the photo I don't see any fleshy blurring, don't you find that odd?Nor do I see any hair?

It looks like she's wearing a bicycle helmet. No idea if that's aloud in International Airports, but I hear it's the new thing to wear on holiday....

I noticed several users of this camera comment about the long shutter lag time. I suspect, but only you can know if this is possible, that a child ran into the frame from behind you after the shot was composed and button pressed. This would also explain why flesh tones in the blur are not seen; the child's back was turned towards the camera.

Best regards,
Z

Oh actually, it kind of looks like an App you can get for iPhone that enables you to "fake" stuff like that, by superimposing premade images on to your own.

You can adjust the blurriness and what ever else.
