Hoagland is, as usual, quite incorrect about almost every Elenin data point. He says that perihelion will happen on the "significant" date of 9/11.
Not true. It will be 17:16 UTC on 9/10. On Coast to Coast he partly acknowledged this error but squirmed out by saying it will be the 11th in Sri
Lanka, where Arthur Clarke used to live, and that was good enough.
That's not true either. Sri Lanka time is UTC +5:30 so it will be 22:46 on the 10th.
He says that closest approach to Earth will be at the "significant" time of 19:51 on 10/16. That's ridiculous -- 19:51 is not at all the same as
decimal 19.5, the number he has always claimed is "hyperdimensional."
Why does this unqualified buffoon have so many faithful disciples (20,855 on Facebook)?
