Seems as though Chavez has 58% of the vote after 94% of the ballots counted.
Officials from the National Electoral Council said that, with 94% of ballots counted, Mr Chavez had 58% of the vote.

It now appears clear that an opposition attempt to force him from office has failed, as have previous attempts, the BBC's James Menendez in Caracas says

Also, cries of fraud are everywhere in Venezuela... this could develop into something nasty...

The whole problem with this whole thing is that the rich people in Venezuale, who are by far the minority but control the most if not all of the recourses, and the whole media in the country, are angry with Chavez because he helps the poor.
