social security works like this you pay 6% then you pas half that cost off on the employer who matches at another 6% then both gets passed off to the government who decides who gets it and who doesnt and then steals it.

So if the government stops stealing it I guess it would work out...

Christ said? You spoke to him personally, or, was this something in the bible - that book that was passed around by word of mouth before finally being written, edited and redacted?

The elderly are the pastor's best customers. The elderly waste all kinds of money not the least of it on buying stuff off of TV and buying from telemarketers. Telemarketers would suffer equally as hard as the pastor's if the Elderly didn't get their checks. We will probably see a plea from them soon as well.

If the dollar crashes/we run out of money. The social security checks won't be any good anyway.

I guess the best thing to do is pay all the welfare until the dollar can't take it any more and crashes. The same way we treat the chronically ill in hospitals until there is nothing we can do. It's the only humane thing to do.

We are done for no matter what we do at this point, the entitlements will soon be like 3x the GNP.

So it looks like our best option is to be "humane" until the system falls apart, then everyone can starve together. At least this way we all can sleep at night, and nobody has to take any blame for something that is nobody's fault in the first place - we are fragile and we all die, and life is demanding.

Of course they did (sarc)

Paying tax on their second homes (aka for tax purposes; "a retreat"), and their 3rd car (you know, to visit the flock they fleece weekly) must be a killer!

Have you ever saw a poor pastor who lives Christlike living "by faith"?

Thought not!

The flock have to pay taxes so why should they get away with it?

Why should the flock sweat their balls off at work all week, are taxed to death, then have to keep a guy who works two to three days a week max??

I know that there are thousands that do great work, but you never hear of them because they live by faith. Dont have a mega church and a tv show.

Those are the real workers in the field.. They deserve the perks.

But the mega crappy churches with shopping malls and spa's?

I say tax them!

But not the charity side... And get the IRS to make damn sure they are audited to the max to make sure the cash goes to who it supposed to
