Inside Anonymous, Members Find Shelter in a Collective Voice

www.huffingtonpost.com

Within the ranks of Anonymous, one member had crossed a line: He granted an interview to a reporter, discussing his role in the shadowy hacker group.

"Attempting to use all the work that so many have done for your personal promotion is something I will not tolerate," another member told him in the group's Internet chat room after reading the article.

Anyone know where this interview video can be found. He broke the rules and now he is banished. Their intentions are beautiful and certainly is something I am fighting for. I am apart of this for a number of reasons. To see what this could become. To assist if I can. And to feel apart of something larger than me. Some basics in the article. Good read.

"We are anonymous, WE ARE LEGION"!

I don't trust this! Why? Because that is what all the demons said to Jesus when He took them out of the crazy guy and put them in the pigs who jumped off the cliff!!!

Not much of a shelter when you got half the world's security services taking an interest in your activities. Just sayin'!

The bible really has to be a work of a genius that it can turn common people in complete morons to buy into the stuff that it contains. Brilliant.

Amen to your sentiments, Bokaforo. TY for sharing the huff article, it was a delicious read. so glad to see this posted. earlier today I read a different OP on this site, with so many speaking negatively against Anon's on-going attempts against PayPup. It sickened me to read post after post of negativity on a site where so many seem to really give a damn. One would thik more would jump at the chance to be part of something -- other than being an American taxpayer who takes it up the pooter from cradle to grave.

As time goes by I've come to realize this faceless group I once questioned to be real is indeed alive and kicking. My only regret is not having madman 'puter and hacking skillz so I could contribute. I'm not afraid to admit I have no life. I don't want to tick off my days on earth playing CityVille, smoking huge amounts of cigs and drinking gallons of coffee while I wait to die. I want to be involved; I WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

I already mentioned in another Anon-related OP my hopes someone somewhere has (or will) start a Fund for folks to contribute to in order to assist the families of the young people who were recently arrested for alleged Anonymous activities. This is one more way regular untalented schmucks like me can help. I don't mean to threadjack, but if anyone is aware of where donations can be sent, please post.

Rock on, Bokaforo

I don't know the background story but wouldn't it be good to have so much nonsense out there that deranged people wanting to read the real deal get lost in the clutter and can't find the real one ?

Just a theory....

I am a computer programmer with some skills, but I am not personally involved with anymore than you are. Who knows what we could offer. My life consists of some similar things including lots of cigarettes, coffee and waiting. Just support for the change I suppose is good enough.

Everyone can contribute to Anonymous, you don't need computer hacking skillz at all. You just need your voice.

I can't actually recruit you or anything, i can merely point you in the direction you want to go. whatis-theplan(dot)org.
Who technically aren't AntiSec. But are Anonymous, just a different offshoot, more about street ops.

"This is the year of the hacker, where you can sit anywhere in the world and make your little attacks," Hilbert said. "It's not about identity theft or making money. It's about showing you can. It's a slap in the face to the establishment. How do you break that? You don’t."

I like that quote on the end there.

That's funny. I feel the elderly shouldn't vote because they all(not all of course, im generalizing) vote for the same party. Hence why we have a bunch of corrupt megalomaniacs in office.

Im making this directly at the current canadian government, or i should say, 'The harper government', psh.

Many are embracing the Anonymous efforts to confront those that hide from accountability and while the government may consider him a threat and a terrorist, many are seeing the truth that Anonymous has revealed.

I find it ironic that while Anonymous attempts to disclose the criminal government skeletons in the closet, those that fear his findings of hacking of information label him and those like him as cyber terrorists and then attempt to justify their crackdown to control the internet as if concealing the truth is more important than revealing the truth.

Recently when Anonymous responded to the FBI, I was struck by how much I agreed with his rebuttal statement. Besides, I still view the investigative efforts of the FBI with 911 as an embarrassment to this nation and a complete obstruction and destruction of evidence in a mass murder crime of the century.

If the FBI is so concerned with criminality, why don't they clean out the crooks within the FBI, gains some creditability with the public for doing so and then do something proactive about all the criminals that Anonymous is pointing out within all levels of government.? I think we all know why the FBI wont do such a thing and so does the nation.

The anonymous rebuttal recently addressed the hypocritical FBI that is out of control and clearly shows us that whistle blowers are condemned, while liars, thieves and corrupt criminals are protected as if they were some special class of human being.

Those that associate and approve of the actions of anonymous are considered terrorist and those that support business as usual with all the same and new criminals getting over on the American tax payer are somehow the status quo and normal.

Many will find fault with the actions Anonymous and others have taken, but I find his actions and those of others as meaningful as the good example they are, for it proves that pressure needs to be applied to those in government that think they are unaccountable to anyone and that they are above the law.

Expose them all should the battle cry of all Americans everywhere in every sector of society and in government.

Anyone with knowledge of criminality should expose them all and in doing so, we will find that once their house of cards start falling down, that they will panic for self protection and will fall rapidly from credibility.

Decent thread, with many areas of discussion. Thanks again and remember, "Expose them All".

That is what it is about
With all the recent revolution in the Middle East the atmosphere is getting prime for a change in the system here as well, the public reaction has been amazing and really supportive when handing out flyers. We must clean this mess up and get some integrity back in the system before it all just falls apart from the excessive and expanding vicious circle of lies and corruption.
