A fugitive who taunted police on his Facebook page to 'catch me if you can. I'm in Brooklyn' has been arrested.

The Daily News says U.S. marshals and NYPD detectives tracked Victor Burgos down to an apartment in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighbourhood Monday night, sitting at a computer with his Facebook page open.

how ironic.. he was on facebook when he got caught..

and here is a picture of the genius...

The 29-year-old suspect was wanted by police in Utica, New York, on multiple arrest warrants for domestic violence and harassment of his former girlfriend.

He allegedly issued the Facebook challenge after his mug shot appeared on the Utica Police Department's 10 most wanted list. Utica Sgt.

Steve Hauck tells the News: "He told us via Facebook to come and get him and we did."

not much to say about this really.. although it does remind me that there are some stupid people in this world..

What an idiot, you'd think he would at least do that at a library or somewhere with lots of people so he could leave after he did it. But nope, Frank Abagnale Jr. here decided to post stuff on the internet from his hideout when he's a fugitive.

If you guys like reading about stupid/crazy criminals, True Crime Report basically compiles all of the wackiest crimes.
