Help on sizing/centering the avatar and background.

Hi, I was able to upload a pic then set it as my avatar and background. However, any of the pictures that I set as my avatar or background are cut off at about the half way mark. I tried re-sizing the picture then re-uploaded only to encounter the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I know that at some point the rules about backgrounds and avatars changed, and the first information I received was bad and had some issues


I believe this is the correct link for the accurate sizes allowed - if you're going by old sizes that might explain it
