On CNN Quick Vote they asked the question Which party do you view as more willing to compromise in the debt-ceiling debate? over 58% 681 idiots believe Democrats are better then the Republicans but in reality there is no difference between the two they are all the same in one coin.

I don't think anyone on here could make that determination because they are both of the criminal party...but if I was a betting man the democrats will be the first to possibly bend more and the next debt ceiling raise will have to volley in favor of the democrats...

The Republicans in the house have passed a bill and sent it to the Senate. The Dems. in the Senate would not even debate and have not come up with any plan of their own. Seems the Dems. want to shut down the country for political gain.

perhaps they should get another 2-3 month extension, and acually use this time to work on the budget. this time. Raise the ceiling enough for 3 months, no more.

Then the deadline is for real, a clear, concise major budget CUT must be on the table by then. Every program covered by Tax dollars, needs to take appropriate cuts, (Social Securtity isnt payed for by tax dollars, it shouldnt even be talked about in this process) and the Obvious wasteful spending programs need cut entirely.

Do not raise taxes, simply close all loopholes. Everybody pays taxes. There are no exemptions in this time of crisis.

Entitlement programs need scaled back, and some eliminated completely. Sorry, you are going to need to eat Ramen noodles, and stop popping out children every other year.
