OK this is just more evidence to suggest that our nation has been blinded by the MSM's refusal to put Fast and Furious in the headlines.

In the midst of this massive, illegal and corrupt cover up, Obama's administration has the audacity to move forward with this. What in the Hell is wrong? Let's forget about the convicted felons who took part in Fast Furious? The illegal gun sales and the set up to frame our nations gun stores?

Even as the Obama administration still faces question about a botched gunrunning operation in which federal law enforcement officials knowingly allowed guns be transported Mexican drug cartels, a new White House report calls for cracking down on the “illicit flow from the United States of weapons and criminal proceeds” to criminal gangs.

The 38-page report lists 56 “priority actions,” including an executive order to seize the assets of transnational organized crime (TOC) networks as well as legislative proposals such as updating racketeering and money laundering laws.

“We must also stop the illicit flow from the United States of weapons and criminal proceeds that empower TOC networks,” says the report, which specifically addresses the flow of guns into Mexico.

What about the 2500 weapons that the ATF placed into the very hands of the people described in this measure?

This is just ridiculous. Pay attention folks and let people know about Fast and Furious and the hidden agenda that drove the program. Above all, don't believe White House rhetoric like this. They have been part of the problem all along!!!!

Fast and Furious was perfect proof that conspiracy theorist are not cooks. We had been saying that American weapons could not get in to Mexico in large numbers without government complicity. Then right out of the blue the ATF proved it was helping the cartels obtain weapons.

To date we know that there were at least 2,500 guns walked across the border by the ATF. That doesn't count the tens of millions of dollars worth of guns sold to the Mexican government with state department aproval. Literally tens of thousands of guns sold to a government who's soldiers are known to defect and take the guns. Mexican soldiers are known to work as mercenaries for the cartels. The local police are known to be corrupt protectors of the cartels. Yet the brilliant people at State keep okaying sales to corrupt municipal police departments.

The people in DC are not trying to stop American guns from reaching cartels. They are helping so that they can place more blame on "American Guns." They want to paint responsible citizens as terrorist sympathizers. In my opinion it is a plot to soften America on the idea of gun control. Bread and circuses are loosing their appeal in hard economic times. They have to find a new way to ensure a passive populace.

Once the people are denied arms the are no longer citizens they are slaves. They are merely servants of their masters. They are property with no more value than a common plow horse.

In this operation, which began in the fall of 2009 and continued into early 2011, the federal government purposefully allowed known or suspected gun smugglers to purchase guns at federally licensed firearms dealers in Arizona. The government did not seek to abort these gun purchases, intercept the smugglers after the purchases, or recover the guns they had purchased.
In some cases, as the government expected they would, the smugglers delivered the guns to Mexican drug trafficking organizations.
The reported purpose of the operation was to track and uncover the entirety of the smuggling operations so they could be completely shutdown. However, two rifles sold to a smuggler in the course of Operation Fast and Furious in January 2010 ended up at the scene of the murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in December 2010.

So you are saying that ff was not a sting operation to ferret our gun running operations? You are saying that it was a frame up of gun shops to scare the American public into increased gun control nationwide? And that now this push is not action upon the information gathered by the sting but rather the the continued assault on gun rights?

Yes!!
And its not just me.

Study the evidence that has been presented by Issa and the testimony of ATF whistle blowers.
Lots of good threads in recent days as more and more information comes out about the F&F mess and cover up.

Since the BATF has no jurisdiction in Mexico the whole thing is a loss. Oh that and the straw buyers were FBI informants. Inter-agency communication has obviously not improved as well. Obama is going to get stuffed on doing anything about guns until after the hearings. Funny how they to are not being discusses on msm. Obama and Holder overplayed their hands on this. Intelligence gathered during a investigation?? Possible charges on administration officials is what is a likelyhood.

Only a small fraction of the weapons that turn up in the hands of the mexican drug cartel have been acquired in a gun store and smuggled. Most cross the border muchly in the same way, as the weapons in this "botched operation". Think about it. How come the weapons smugglers show up with in mexico are so uniform? Surely not all the smugglers would purchase the same type of gun to try and push it on the mexican mafia.

Add to the mix allegations that mexico wants the Sinaloa cartel to thrive, while being hard on most other contenders exclusively.

OK then. I had bought the "cover story" if that is what it is. It seemed a reasonable government clusterf#@k to me but now I will observe from a more unbiased perspective. I will pay attention to Issa. Thanks for the heads up.
