Is This UFO Real Or Fake?

I came across this photo of a alleged ufo.
There is no info for it just a picture.

I do see what seems to be a shadow behind and below it from the object,
but I could be wrong.
If this has been posted before,please remove.

Please debunk this for me,or at least find some info of it.

Seen this one before, quite an old one, and I believe it was ruled as fake.....I don't recall the name of it but surely one of the other members will chime in here and know off the top of their head.

It's probably fake and wouldn't be too difficult to recreate imo.

the photo seems to have to no life or energy, it making it feel staged

I am no professional anaylist by any means but that does seem way to clear to be real, and yes it does appear to lack a shadown so in my oponion I am going to have to go with a fake pic

I think that is one of the Billy Meier ufo pics.

AS far as I know, it was taken back in the 70's I believe, and nobody has proved it fake as of yet..even though it does look fake as hell..

my gut says fake I think its a lack of shading on the ufo itself more than anything

the ufo image is far too sharp. it does'nt fit in with the rest of the photo i.e the trees and field
its a nice looking ufo but im calling fake on this one

Yes, fake as all get out. So many reasons why, the first ones should come to you with just a smidgen of common sense and logic without anyone even telling you. No need to even analyze the actual photo to know its fake.

But among the thousands of technical reasons regarding the actual photo...atmospheric haze is missing, focus isn't right.....bla bla boring photo stuff that nobody bothers to understand anyway....bla bla.....

If you look at the shadowing of the picture, you can almost see that the shadowing of the trees (especially in the far back right, next to the plains, but a little bit in the front with the grass) to be slightly to the right. This would mean that the shadowing of the UFO should be similar, but instead is perfectly symmetrical. Plus the proportions and distortions look off... the whole thing just looks ridiculous.

I believe it's fake. Still very nice though.

It appears too small and close to me- like it is above the grass that is too close to the camera to make it into the shot.

Or maybe everyone forgets how even a mediocre airbrush job from back in the day looks way more organic than any modern photoshop crap does.

"real" ufo's are always bright as stars... im guessing fake but if it was from the 70s like you say then itd be a lot harder to fake wouldnt it?

1st instinct: fake

2nd look: well the trees under this thing ARE shadowed. as is the underside of the thingy has less light than the top.

if it's not real, its a great fake.

If you zoom in close below the alleged saucer,
you can see what appears to be defects in the photo.
You will see lines and changes of appearances of the trees below it.
One side of the tree is green the other is brown.

A good training exercise it debunking a fake ufo picture.
They took a before and after picture of the area and edited it
accordingly.

a small argument to the leaves mention, is that fall changes for trees is not a uniform thing.
the lines visible? could be due to this being a film photo versus digital. when i scan film photos direct to pc, i get all kinds of anomalies that pop up.
