Hi there! I've been looking around on these forums quite a bit, viewing different topics which I find interesting.
This looks like a good forum, not like any other. I'm eager to share my views on the subjects here, contributing with my personal opinions and information on the topics.

I come from, and live in Oslo. It's kind of sad days here now, which most of you seem to know. But I'm especially interested in Anders Behring Breivik's views and his manifesto. Also, his so-called templar order is of interest to me at the moment.

There could be so much the media doesn't want us to know about the REAL real life. I guess we'll have to find out ourselves, if we really want to know the truth. Let's dig deep!

Anyways, thank you for this forum, and greetings from Norway!

Explanation: Flagged!

Personal Disclosure: Welcome! OL is sure a mod will be along soon to help out with an informative post etc. I also recommend utilizing the green chat voyuer function on the ATS tool bar to the bottom of most ATS webpages [aka the ribbon]! It will enable you to watch who and what is being posted in chat but unfortunately you wont be able to join or chat back until your post count reaches 200 posts or so.

Reply to this post with the reply function up top right of this post and that'll be another post towards your mandatory 20 posts before you can start your own threads

Please message me using the message button on far left ATS tool bar [after you have made at least 20 posts] if you require any further help whatsoever!

Peace and much love!

Sincerely OL [OmegaLogos]

P.S. My deepest condelences for you and Norway.

Welcome to ATS...your neck of the world has this website and many others in a frenzy.

As an Oslo citizen, what is your take on the situation?

Hello there!
I'm from the USA, in the South, in Georgia.
Love Norway.

I'm really sorry about what happened though. I hope it doesn't change Norway like 911 changed the US.

Thank you very much for your thoughts and kindness

My thoughts are many.. But I feel kind of split in my views on this. Of course, it's sad that so many innocent lives were taken, and that should really never happen. At the same time, reading his reasons in the manifesto, I understand some of his views and reasons. I am myself a conservative right-wing'er politically speaking. He, Anders, was the foreman in the exact section of the youth party I've been a member of the last 5-6 years. Oslo West FpU, the youth party of the Progress Party. We share many similar thoughts, and even incidents he's described in the personal part of his manifesto. That being said, I would never ever think of doing such a thing against my fellow countrymen, not even against anyone.

I attended the official "ceremony" in the centre of Oslo earlier today, where the Crown Prince of Norway and the prime minister among others spoke to a crowd so big I've never seen before. 200 000 people showed up, and our city has a little more than 500 000 citizens. However, I left when the leader of the youth party which was attacked at Utøya started twisting this ceremony as part of the start for the upcoming election in September..
