Regardless of what you think of Obama's policies, he's just picking up where the last guy left off, so I think it probably safe to refer to the previous administration. The GOP can't allow Obama to do anything that looks good for fear that it would get him another 4 years in the white house. For that reason alone, I am ashamed of my party...

Oh come on. Yes, Bush was terrible. But, Obama is worse. Nothing like coming in promising one thing, then turning right around and blatantly doing another.
Regardless if Obama created or did not create, he has continued and compounded the problem.

He has literally taken our country down the "left-handed path", and it's the biggest mess I've seen in my lifetime. I hope the Canadians take him off our hands.

Oops, sorry, I didn't mean it that way. I meant in the spiritual sense of things. The left-handed path has a spiritual connotation denoting the path of black magic, but it is not a reference to people who use their left hand to write....

Also, a certain Count de St. Germain, an alchemist in the Renaissance, was said to be ambidextrous, which is quite unusual trait.

why all the anger towards a man, acting as a puppet? you should all know by now, there hasn't been a real president since JFK, so why mad at a puppet? you're anger should be directed to the puppeteers, but I understand, there's someone that has to feel the brunt of anger. I think it's sad so many victims fall into the disinformation trap of believing a single man can do a nation good, a single man can do a nation bad. We are responsible for our own good, or bad. Voting does not count, it's not an election, it's a multiple choice selection. You can bitch if you didn't vote, you can bitch if you did vote, but bitching doesn't accomplish anything. There are very few real countries not being puppeted by cash. Cash is king, and money talks, principles walk. In the U.S. There is no democracy, just democrazy, but the illusion flourishes to keep us with a sense of control in our country, our lives. Wake up and realize, you can blame a President, or a senator, a liberal, a conservative, a republican, a democrat. We can blame ourselves, our changing core values as a collective species, the enemy is ourselves, for in our own selves lie the monster who is rampaging, stealing, killing, manipulating, and that is simply, greed. Fear is the force-field which protects fear. I really am surprised to see conspiracy minded folks who actually believe that the President is to blame for anything; really, he is a puppet, a slave, answering the the masters of money. Do you really think he can do anything without permission? The man is a human being who loves his children, I'm sure, and when you have children, you do anything for them. Rage against the machine, not a man being controlled by the machine.

Are you mad he doesn't cut his puppet strings?

He's not a dumb man, and the last smart man do cut his strings when he was president, well...his legacy kinda is the reason ATS is around, the powers that be conspire through the intricacies of information warfare to veil us from truth.

I'm very frustrated too, and know better than to blame a man when it's a machine of enterprise which feeds on humanity, rolling over civilizations, technologies, truths, sustaining it's "life" through blood, sweat and tears of it's human hosts.

It's like a psychological virus spreading, old as time, but now in the age of technology, refined, and loose with faster legs, stronger arms, and a bigger set of eyes, and with those attributes, the hunger for more increases in this virus of the mind.

It's not just the rich, it's not just politics, it's humanity. I'm not a misanthropic thinker, I have hope for us, but it's getting harder each day to see the hope, but it's light still shines through the cracks of the dark planks of the disease of the human condition each day.

His ideology is still Marxist bs, and yes I do blame him for his ideology. Now, aside from that, yes you are right, he's a puppet, but if he didn't have his Marxist ideology and wasn't willing to be the puppet, then we couldn't blame him right?

In fact, it is. It's sinister. Lefties have been the focus of suspicion for long time. Look at how many words regarding lefties have negative connotations.

This is a symptom of the problem.

A true middle class would be able to afford some taxes.

That of course places all of the tax burden on a select group of people who work just as hard for their families as everyone else. It's just not right and it is not what this nation's founders had in mind for our ONCE great nation.

Again, this is a symptom of the problem.

"The rich" pay such a large percentage of the taxes because they have such a large percentage of the purchasing power.

In reality "the rich" benefit from and depend on the government more than anyone else; by far.

Holy Crap, are you F_*&(ing kidding me? Where have you been, locked up in a meat locker?, or perhaps not old enough to make such a post using your own experience. Bush and his band of crony cabinet members is the prime cause of what is going on here today, be it financial, political, health, war and agricultural... this man failed on a level unprecedented in what we as the American people have elected to rule this country.

Who cares how it happened, and how it was able to get so out of control, that is a history lesson. What counts is we are in this stew because of HIS administration and decisions. Obama is in nothing but permanent damage control for this country, and he is doing an incredible job trying so save us from a roller coaster of after effects from the Bush administration. Period. Take that to your broken bank.

How do you only get 25mil unemployed?
Oh, you must be going by that magical 9% unemployment receiving unemployment benefits.

Try doubling that number to get something closer to the actual number of people not working right now who need/should be. Not to mention those who actually take part time jobs to work atleast some instead of sitting around with their thumbs up their asses living off government handouts

how did i get 25 million? from that website the column of numbers on the right.

"official number unemployed" is 14 million then next one down said 25 million "actually unemployed"

but we both know the government keeps the official score and defines everything.

i dont think we are too far off on our opinions here.

It is Bush's fault because that is what the mass media keeps telling us. It is called MASS BRAINWASHING!

The media is OWNED by the Rothschilds and their agents the Morgans and has been for a frackin' CENTURY!

I can not stand Bush, but by playing the blame game they keep people from looking behind the curtain and seeing the destruction was "THE PLAN". Here are two versions of "THE PLAN" one from 1911 and one from 1773.

...In 1911, prior to Wilson’s taking office as President, House had returned to his home in Texas and completed a book called Philip Dru, Administrator. Ostensibly a novel, it was actually a detailed plan for the future government of the United States, "which would establish Socialism as dreamed by Karl Marx", according to House.

This "novel" predicted the enactment of the graduated income tax, excess profits tax, unemployment insurance, social security, and a flexible currency system.

In short, it was the blueprint which was later followed by the Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt administrations. It was published "anonymously" by B. W. Huebsch of New York, and widely circulated among government officials, who were left in no doubt as to its authorship. George Sylvester Viereck**, who knew House for years, later wrote an account of the Wilson-House relationship,....

In 1955, Westbrook Pegler, the Hearst columnist from 1932 to 1956, heard of the Philip Dru book and called Viereck to ask if he had a copy. Viereck sent Pegler his copy of the book, and Pegler wrote a column about it, stating:

"One of the institutions outlined in Philip Dru is the Federal Reserve System. The Schiffs, the Warburgs, the Kahns, the Rockefellers and Morgans put their faith in House. The Schiff, Warburg, Rockefeller and Morgan interests were personally represented in the mysterious conference at Jekyll Island. Frankfurter landed on the Harvard law faculty, thanks to a financial contribution to Harvard by Felix Warburg and Paul Warburg, and so we got Alger and Donald Hiss, Lee Pressman, Harry Dexter White and many other protégés of Little Weenie."*
SECRETS OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE

Further along in his book Mullins explains the originial plan

According to William Guy Carr, in Pawns In The Game,42 the initial meeting of these ex officio planners took place in Mayer Amschel Bauer’s Goldsmith Shop in Frankfurt in 1773.

Bauer, who adopted the name of "Rothschild" ... invited twelve other wealthy and influential men to meet him in Frankfurt. His purpose was to convince them that if they agreed to pool their resources they could then finance and control the World Revolutionary Movement and use it as their Manual of Action to win ultimate control of the wealth, natural resources, and manpower of the entire world.

This agreement reached, Mayer unfolded his revolutionary plan.

The project would be backed by all the power that could be purchased with their pooled resources. By clever manipulation of their combined wealth it would be possible to create such adverse economic conditions that the masses would be reduced to a state bordering on starvation by unemployment...

Their paid propagandists would arouse feelings of hatred and revenge against the ruling classes by exposing all real and alleged cases of extravagance, licentious conduct, injustice, oppression, and persecution. They would also invent infamies to bring into disrepute others who might, if left alone, interfere with their overall plans... [sound familiar?? cv]

Rothschild turned to a manuscript and proceeded to read a carefully prepared plan of action.

1. He argued that LAW was FORCE only in disguise. He reasoned it was logical to conclude ‘By the laws of nature right lies in force.’

2. Political freedom is an idea, not a fact. In order to usurp political power all that was necessary was to preach ‘Liberalism’ so that the electorate, for the sake of an idea, would yield some of their power and prerogatives which the plotters could then gather into their own hands.

3. The speaker asserted that the Power of Gold had usurped the power of Liberal rulers.... He pointed out that it was immaterial to the success of his plan whether the established governments were destroyed by external or internal foes because the victor had to of necessity ask the aid of ‘Capital’ which ‘Is entirely in our hands’.

4. He argued that the use of any and all means to reach their final goal was justified on the grounds that the ruler who governed by the moral code was not a skilled politician because he left himself vulnerable and in an unstable position.

5. He asserted that ‘Our right lies in force. The word RIGHT is an abstract thought and proves nothing. I find a new RIGHT... to attack by the Right of the Strong, to reconstruct all existing institutions, and to become the sovereign Lord of all those who left to us the Rights to their powers by laying them down to us in their liberalism.

6. The power of our resources must remain invisible until the very moment when it has gained such strength that no cunning or force can undermine it. He went on to outline twenty-five points.

Number 8 dealt with the use of alcoholic liquors, drugs, moral corruption, and all vice to systematically corrupt youth of all nations.

9. They had the right to seize property by any means, and without hesitation, if by doing so they secured submission and sovereignty.

10. We were the first to put the slogans Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity into the mouths of the masses, which set up a new aristocracy. The qualification for this aristocracy is WEALTH which is dependent on us.

11. Wars should be directed so that the nations engaged on both sides should be further in our debt.

12. Candidates for public office should be servile and obedient to our commands, so that they may readily be used.

13. Propaganda--their combined wealth would control all outlets of public information.

14. Panics and financial depressions would ultimately result in World Government, a new order of one world government."

For the most part, I do agree with you, was just curious where you got the numbers (guess I should've clicked the link!
)

As for the bush vs obama crap, seriously wtf is this?

There are leaders who suck it up and deal with stuff without pointing fingers like the class tattle tale in elementary grade school.
...The rest aren't leaders. Bush wasn't the greatest, but atleast he didn't spend his term playing class warfare battles and blaming everything on clinton. Same can go for any other president.

Originally posted by TheWalkingFox The question was, why the derision for "class warfare" and why it's only an issue when somebody swings for the poor.

First before I get started let me say Bush was not in my eyes a great President either - he did many things poorly. He certainly spent money like a drunken sailor on shore leave. His no child left behind nonsense and the prescription benefit thingy were horrible policy. However, despite his faults he knew enough about leadership to take charge and be responsible for his decisions. He actually was in charge of something before being POTUS.

Now back to the issue - Honestly, maybe I missed the posts about class derision or class warfare because I see the topic as about Obama not being able to own an issue. Besides, class warfare is that – not race warfare. The poor vs. the rich - not the little brown people you seem to twist into every thread somehow.

Originally posted by TheWalkingFox I followed up with a question of whether it's related to the derision for "playing the race card" - whether it's simply a case of the haves getting pissed that the have-nots are noticing what's going on.

Again - the class warfare you are addressing is not race warfare. However, you managed to, once again, to insert race into the topic at hand.

Now I realize that I have only been a member here for a short time and I can tell you this gets old - not every topic is about race and the division between the rich and the poor. Perhaps I am the only one who sees this? I don’t know. All I know is almost invariably, I can count on seeing something about race when I see your name in a thread – especially in political madness or politics.

I am pretty sure that many here see this thread as just about how Obama can't seem to own an issue.
Ask any MBA student, Officer Candidate, NCO, Manager, or Supervisor at McDonalds even how much mileage they can get out of blaming the last guy they get as an excuse for poor performance after almost three years after taking over a position.

He wanted the job, he got it, I am not sure how (that’s another many threads worth) but it’s his now and he owns it.

Leadership 101 you are responsible for all your organization does or fails to do.

It is most certainly not the last guys issue after about three years on the job. This is a failed argument from a failed President who is grasping at straws hoping to use misdirection and his charm on the sheeple who got him here. It’s almost as old as the RACE CARD used to counter anyone who disagrees with him.

Originally posted by TheWalkingFox I love that simply using the term sends you into an immediate, frothing rage of defensive sputtering though.

Sorry, nice try though...I am neither in a sputtering rage nor on the defensive - my only intent is to point out to others who may or may not know that your continued insistence to insert race into any thread is a "cry wolf" tactic that has little merit, as it is too oft used.

Seriously though, self observation is something of a dying art man. Often times we don't see ourselves the way others do.

Just go back and pull up your last 100 posts and see how many times you have taken the thread from the OP topic and mad it either about the "exploitation or extermination of the poor brown people" by the whitey or the evil white corporations, or perhaps just turning any criticism of Obama or liberal policy into a race issue, or even just talking about race or mentioning it in some way.

For the crowd – Anyone but me happen to notice this trend or am I alone here?

If Obama says "Uh" Take a drink.

If Obama implies something to be bushes fault - 2 Drinks.

If Obama directly blames bush - 3 Drinks.

If Boehner says "no deal with tax increases" 4 drinks

If Boehner says "decreased taxes for the wealthy creates jobs" 5 drinks

if Boehner says "deregulation of industry xxx encourages job creation" 6 drinks

If Obama, Boehner, and Reid agree on ANYTHING buy the entire bar a round.

You forgot any American who gets a paycheque either directly or indirectly from the US Government, including emergency service personnel, teachers, anyone who works for a Government agency, and anyone who works for any organization that gets funding from Govt.

Of course, while ALL of these people will have their income affected, Congresspeople, Senators, the Vice President, and President all have their salaries guaranteed by The US Constitution.
