We need to churn out some more ATS memes. I loved 'I am a scientist'! Don't make me go to bad boards for my photoshopping ATS! I will if I have to though.

Parry's speaking rates differ, depending on the nature of the speaking engagement and the audience. Her commercial speaking rates start at $8,500 (plus travel expenses) and can be as high as $17,500, depending on the location of the engagement, and what is being requested.

Parry charges over $9000 for speaking engagements. Can that be one?

Are you freaking kidding me? After having watched a number of these bullying events play out in real time, and mucking around the slums of the internet I almost guarantee that I could school this woman. Hell, I may have found a new career. Don't SWAT my house though.

Swat, modern day Keystone Kops with bad attitudes and soldier's toys.

What exactly should have been done ? If they don't act and it turns out to be true, there's a bigger problem. This is not SWAT's fault they are simply doing their job and following procedure.

I found a few and I will upload them to ATS photo area if I can But, since I live in TN I am not allowed to post any pictures that might offend someone or else I risk going to jail.

Well, I live in Canada, so I think I am allowed to post this video of her singing "Vogue" by Madonna.

...it could be someone else, I'm not sure...

She could tell the people that post their lives online to just stop posting their lives online. That tends to help when people are making fun of you... posting your life online

There used to be a saying, "Don't feed the Sharks", or something like that...

Shows exactly what happens when paramilitary forces jump the gun without checking their facts. I hope she sues the SWAT team.

Sues them for what? Trying to protect a potential hostage? Stop being so scared of authority. I'm sure they'll pay for any damages.

Here's my take.

This "woman" needs to quit trying to silence us. I agree that some regulations need to be put in place so things like CP (child porn) doesn't sprout up commonly. But that's as far as I'd go to put limits on the net.

Glad you approved, should have shopped 4chan or ATS on her monitor. Hindsight is a b-word.

But I mean seriously though, the only and I mean ONLY reason to put a tighter grip on the internet is to control unbiased news. That's how I view it. As I noted above, the only censorship we need online is to protect children. By that I mean via pornography and the like. But cyber bullies get a kick off of these kids reactions. Like that one kid, forget his name, /b/'s been having a hay day with him. If he'd quit acknowledging these guys, they'd more then likely find someone else. So I feel a lot of the "policing" the internet needs should be handled by these kids parents. Both the bullies and the idiots who reply to them (the bullied).

There are so many I'm not sure who you're talking about. The only thing I encourage law enforcement to do online is hunt pedos. They are utter scum and deserve far worse than a swatting (i like this term). I would probably have a bit of a laugh if you shooped /b/ onto the screen. Probably see it plastered all over the place.

And here I thought you had all sailed away on a boat or something. Suppose I've been a bit preoccupied as of late. I tip my hat to you sir but cannot smile as my monocle would surely fall.
