The rightwing extremist who confessed to the mass killings in Norway boasted in court on Monday that there were two more cells from his terror network still at large, prompting an international investigation for collaborators.

After Anders Behring Breivik pleaded not guilty, despite admitting that he had carried out the attacks in Oslo and on Utøya island, officials said it was possible he had not acted alone.

Admitted mass killer Anders Behring Breivik was denied Monday a platform to expound directly to the world his extreme anti-immigrant views as a Norwegian court, at a hearing where the media and public were denied access, jailed him under strict conditions for eight weeks.

But he refused to plead guilty, Heger said, because he believes he acted out of necessity.

Breivik, who said there are two active cells within his organization, said he needed to send a powerful message to the ruling Labour Party by slaughtering the party's youth members attending a summer camp on a tiny island.
