Hi folks,

I just noticed that there was a food forum and thought this would be a great place to share my burger experience from 2 weekends ago.

Let me introduce to you, The Burger.....

Now, this burger was a cheesy adventure, with a few hidden gems for a tantalising experience.

Ingredients

*1 large roll, bap style roll.
*1 frozen quarter pound burger, I used a supermarket brand.
*Cheddar cheese, some store brand white cheddar is what I used, but not flappy cheese slices.
*Coleslaw
*lettuce, tomato and cucumber, 3 thin slices of each.
*2 slice of supermarket brand Bacon.
*3 onion rings
*Tomato Ketchup, optional but tasty.

This whole burger, when broken down roughly cost £1.92 in British money. Very satisfying and also available in Chicken, with added hash browns.

And that is my burger experience.

Now I think you must take from this what you must, perhaps give it a go and share with us your Burger.
We shall start a burger revolution that doesn't hurt the wallet.

Peace for now.

Chuckle chuckle, you know the second one was indeed a killer.

When I was writing that I thought dam, now I am hungry and indeed before bed, some cereal should sort that out.

Peace out

Ooh, I wonder what it'd taste like with melted Stilton on the burger. Guess there's only one way to find out...

Thanks, now I’m hungry. You’re not helping my diet.

Here is a quarterly treat that I reward myself with. TDawg’s Bison Burger.

Mind you, Bison is a bit pricier than hamburger, but leaner and healthier. I have my local butcher grind it from one piece of meat, that way I don’t end up with 300 different bovine in it.

• 1lb Ground Bison
• 1 egg – this is to keep the burger together as it has a tendency to fall apart on the grill or griddle due to it leaness.
• 3-4 chopped/diced fresh Jalapenos
• ¼ cup chopped/diced fresh onion
• Pepperjack Cheese
Optional: Bacon

I add additional horseradish to the Beer & Brat mustard and a dash of Papricka to my Ketchup.

I can’t wait until the 9th of August as that is my day I get my reward!

Word of warning. If you have a significant other, do not attempt to kiss them after eating this. You’ll be on the couch that night.

Also, barbecue sauce on burgers with onion rings are very yummy. Throw a slice of pork roll on there and you will be in heaven.

The chicken with hash browns. Man! That makes me hungry just looking at it. I want one now and I'm not even hungry.

That close-up is one scary looking burger. I know, though, I'd have to roll up my sleeves and take it on.

*looking the burger straight in the eye* It's just me and you... mano-a-mano... one of us is going to die!!

Fantastic Tdawg burger!

Love the pepperjack cheese and the fine choice in meat.

I hope you can share a pic of your experience on the 9th August, preferably a pic of the burger and not the aftermath, lol.

Thanks everyone for your replies, still no debunkers so rock on, chuckle chuckle.

I am still laughing at the replies and please accept my apologies for bringing the hunger to y'all.

Keep the suggestions coming, this has been fun.

Peace to all and and remember, sometimes, life is a burger...

I smell a fake. That picture looks photoshopped to me and I know my photoshops. I am sick and tired of these supposedly 'genuine' burger shots popping up on ATS every other day. Can we get phage in here to debunk this?
