Pretty freaky dog if you ask me, fun non the less...

What riddles me is what you would like the moderators to do about it? (since it's placed in the Board Business & Questions forum..
)

Peace

Sorry for being so quick....

Amazing coincidence that there seems to be two stars protruding the clouds exactly where one would expect the glittering in the eyes.

Peace

Those stars could be hot pixels (noise) on the sensor.

Force a remapping by doing a manual clean for 60 seconds then power off, to remap the hot pixels to average of nearest neighbours.

www.starzen.com...

Here is a tool to find hot pixels, very useful.

All camera sensors have them.

You can confirm this by taking an exposure with the lens cap on in live view.

Just saying
I have one on my newly purchased EOS and I have remapped it last night. Every camera has them and all camera's remap every manual clean procedure.

I do astrophotography so it is important to know what is noise what isnt and how to fix it.

I kept thinking one hot pixel I had was a star poking through the clouds, it wasnt lol.

Cap on, exposure/live view confirmed it.

My advice is to take a cap on exposure for a baseline comparasion (and subtraction) AFTER each remap (manual clean procedure - dont have to actually clean it) and also to remap frequently if you see any hots.
