You have to understand that they're all Masons who answser only to other Masons. Therefore crime is not punishable unless it's against another Mason. All of the law suits involving the illegitimate birth issue have been thrown out of court due to "lack of standing." That's code for lack of standing among Masons, not the Constitution.

I too am from Texas and I couldn't resist the need to make a suggestion regarding your post.

I agree that President Obama is probably doing as well as could be expected considering the "oppose everything that Obama supports" mentality adopted by the GOP, coupled with their new "filibuster everything" strategy. Although I have to say that I had "Hoped" for more, especially when it comes to his apparent lack of negotiating skills.

On the other hand, I'm not sure that the term "whack" is adequate for describing our secessionist promoting governor. The man is a ego maniac who's political positions are akin to a tumbleweed, their direction changes right along with the wind. Didn't he used to be a democrat? Then he was republican and now it looks like he's a secessionist Tea Bagger. On top of that, he now wants to run for POTUS, Please! Wouldn't you think that someone would first have to actually believe in The "United States" of America before they should attempt to become it's commander in chief? The man is an absolute idiot and if his positions didn't sometimes cause people to die, they would be nothing short of laughable. (Actually, you did quite well in your description of him, especially for someone who's not from Texas.)

Texas hasn't had a decent governor since Ann Richards and right now, I don't know if we'll ever get another one in my lifetime. One can only continue to "Hope."

The only comment you made that has any merit is that Ann Richards was great. She single handily devastated the Democrat Party in Texas which has put the Republican party in power in every statewide election since her tenure. The main power of the Democrats- Briscoe,Mattox, et al really couldn't get along with the druggies, lesbians and people of color with whom Ann decorated the capitol. Ann was the greatest thing that ever to happen to Texas.
