To safeguard its technology leadership position and to ensure its global competitiveness, Airbus prides in its ability to continue to innovate and to build the world's most efficient aircraft flying today. But not only today; Airbus engineers created "The Future, by Airbus", which predicted the future of commercial air travel.

Transparent fuselages that give passengers birds-eye views of the city that lies 40,000 feet below their feet. Holographic projections that transform a private cabin into a Zen garden. Self-cleaning seats and headrests that can never be soiled.

The future is here, guys. Lookout, Jetson's, here we come!

This is really awesome guys. - See through planes.

Can hardly wait to fly in one of these babies. Who knows? - I think maybe we will even have flying casinos and hotels next! What do you guys think?

Awesome to think about, huh?

Very cool indeed.

Just don't ask me to use the Restrooms.

"Self-cleaning seats and headrests that can never be soiled."

Put me in an invisible plane lifting off at 150 to 200 mph and we'll see if that seat gets soiled.

Sorry about that. I overlooked it somehow in my search.

My appologies, that I 'm tired and blind lol.

Most of these "future" projects never happen, because it's always put off until the future.
Why not work on it NOW?

Instead of just day dreaming.

Don't wait for the future, create the future.

And for every 93 purchases of Starbucks coffee, you get one more point towards getting a seat on the new Invisi-plane!

I love flying and planes, so that would bed extremely cool if they did all that. I especially like the bar idea. I bet those tickets won't be cheap though.

I'm on a slower connection right now and haven't watched the videos... but have they done anything to address the -serious- glare issue this is going to face?

I've logged some hours on airplanes - and there's a reason there's a thick plastic shutter on the windows. The sun's bright, and clouds are very reflective - combine those two factors with see-through fuselages and you've got a flying tanning bed/solar oven.

I'll stick with the anti-flash white that most aircraft are in today.

Now, this would be particularly captivating in blimps - which could see a come-back as structural materials make them more practical and rising air travel costs make them more attractive from a cost standpoint. Having the Hindenberg diluted in a century of other memories and historic events also helps.
