To Distract the public, I for one would not be surprised. Kinda funny, do you think the UK Public are so enthralled by this?

No they are not they are more concerned about if they are going to loose their jobs or wither they are going to afford to pay their mortgages than worrying over this so called crisis steamed up by those who have an axe to grind. Some Politicians are pushing this whom have a guilt conscience who were caught out in the expenses scandal. That is what it boils down to.

We were disgusted about the phone hackings, and we expect the Judicial process and the Police Investigation now to go the full road instead of stopping half way.

That is what the UK Public want, not a witch hunt, which this has turned out to be.

The thing is ,to wrap this up as a witch hunt is a little soft in my opinion. I would agree that the latest round of resignations,including the head of the Met, and the Counter Terror group boss, are perhaps surplus to requirements, but in terms of the arrests that have been going on, I dont see a problem with them. I believe its also right and proper for the Murdochs to answer for the actions of thier functionaries. Its thier job to ensure thier employees are operating within the law, just as it was Rebekah Brooks responsibility to ensure that the journalists working under her, were operating within the law.

The fact is , unless EVERY little thing is scrutinised ,and hard, there will never be a proper justice had, no proper punishment.If later on, ANY thing that should be comming out NOW is later discovered,it will sour the whole thing even further, and disolve the already weak respect that most have for the capacity of the law to enact justice in this nation. This contamination, this corruption should be burned, carved, sliced from the guts of this nation like so much cancerous tissue, and thats the truth of it.

How did the police know to call it not suspicious, without anybody even knowing how the poor guy died...

They didn't say it definitely wasn't suspicious -- they said they were not treating it as such, meaning that it appeared, from an initial examination, that he had not been murdered. They can switch it to Suspicious if anything turns up on the autopsy.

See thats the thing.....I know for a fact that Scotland Yard and NZ Police treat all home deaths as suspecious until proven otherwise by the coroner. Now that coroner's report was real instant.

That's interesting. Do you have a source for that? I'm not doubting you, I just want to know for sure it's not hearsay. (On the other hand, the story was posted at 6PM England time; The police found the body a bit before 11 AM, and left the scene around 3 PM. They may have had enough time for an initial report?)

We can't do that. As much as we all would like for it to happen, and know it's probably right and true -- there is not yet any proof that he's tied to the death, or that the death was even murder. And a world that does not run on proof is not one that I would like to live in.

I'd like to point out that the allegations of drink and drug are NOT new, and were ostensibly the reason he was fired six years ago. This neither discredits him nor those reporting on it. Unless he died of an overdose or jaundice -- some of the reports linked say that he was looking yellow -- it's pretty much irrelevant.

My first reaction was the same as everyone else's, very suspicious, but I doubt we'll hear much more about it from the news. Rest assured, it'll be called a death by "natural causes" or maybe even a drug OD based on this man's history. And maybe it'll be the truth but that's a pretty big coincidence.

I'm finding this whole situation very suspicious!

I watched the BBC interview with the whistle blower just before his announced death. I'm pretty sure he had lot more to say, and evidence to present. Especially concerning senior MET officers.

What better way to cover their backs, bump said whistle blower of with spiked drug or drink. Police naturally seal the area under the pretext of conducting an investigation.

When in actuality, I'll bet they took the opportunity to pick the victims home clean of any incriminating evidence. especially relating to payments to officers.

A name keeps popping into my thoughts when ponder over this, DR David Kelly. Can't think why!!!

I haven't really followed this story much, but the news was on in the background earlier, and I remember hearing the reported saying that no foul play was suspected. I also heard them bashing lobbying in general, among other good things. Maybe there is hope for the MSM afterall.

As far as this death goes, I believe it could be either an overdose, a suicide, or a murder. I haven't personally heard enough evidence to convince me of any of those options. He could have been killed by aliens for all I know. Is there going to be an autopsy?

I suppose though that someone with plenty of money could just go to the mob and have the hit done professionally. I don't know how it could be done professionally unless the person that ordered it had very shady, but competent friends.

This story made it to Digg. There better be an autopsy and a complete investigation.

It is a story worthy of a major conspiracy theory, the script for a James Bond movie, or a blueprint for a contrived episode of "The X Files". Except the facts surrounding this story are just that. Facts. The Truth. At least twelve, and perhaps as many as twenty eminent scientists, leaders in their particular field of scientific research, dead in the last few months, and a bizarre connection between one of the scientists and the mystery surrounding the death by Anthrax inhalation of a sixty one year old female hospital worker in New York. Sounds far fetched? Read on.

Since November last year several world-acclaimed scientific researchers, specialising in infectious diseases and biological agents such as Smallpox and Anthrax, as well as DNA sequencing, environmental research and microbiology have died, many in unusual circumstances.

First, on November 12th, was Dr. Benito Que, a cell biologist working on infectious diseases like HIV, who was found comatose outside his laboratory at the Miami Medical School. He later died. Police say the attack was possibly the result of a mugging. The Miami Herald reported that:

"The incident, whatever it may have been, occurred on Monday afternoon as the scientist left his job at University of Miami's School of Medicine. He headed for his car, a white Ford Explorer parked on Northwest 10th Avenue. The word among his friends is that four men armed with a baseball bat attacked him at his car."

On November 16th, within of week of Dr. Que's assault, Dr. Don C Wiley, one of the United States foremost infectious disease researchers was declared missing. Associated Press wrote:

"His rental car was found with a full tank of petrol and the keys in the ignition. His disappearance looked like a suicide, but according to colleagues and Dr. Wiley's family, the Harvard Scientist associated with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute would never commit suicide. Associates who attended the St. Jude's Children Research Advisory Dinner with Dr. Wiley, just hours before he disappeared, said that he was in good spirits and not depressed. He was last seen at the banquet at the Peabody Hotel in downtown Memphis the night he vanished. Those who saw him last say he showed no signs of a man contemplating his own death."

WOW!!!

Last night I posted wondering what tomorrow would bring.

Two top police officers resign and a whistleblower is dead.

This is an unbelievable story and it grows each day.

OD'd to death on coc aine? Well in the UK there were 223 deaths last year from that. If a similar number of deaths were in the US by population that would be about 1,200 deaths. And there were probably about that many million dollar+ jackpot winners. So, I'm not going to buy a story of coc aine OD without overwhelming evidence of that.

If, and i mean if, Sean Hoare had been a long term coc aine and alcohol user this would be a possible reason for his early death as these two chemicals combine in the body to create cocaethylene which is really bad for the liver and the heart.

Lets hope he gets an inquest that has at least three independent medical examiners take a look at his remains. Also i hope his family get the peace and quiet in which to mourn him, and don't have a hundred jounalists camped out on their front garden.
