the answer is to get in their faces, and force them to see that their beliefs will not be tolerated in modern societies. The biggest goal of Islam is to keep their women locked up from the free world. Those high birth rates aren't because they are poor, it is because they see this as a way to conquer the western world.

No need to get in their face
In the west, we have laws already on the book that forbid many radical nonsense religions try to push, be it honor killings, slavery, sexism, etc...they can preach it, but if they practice it, they go to prison..pretty simple.
The getting in the face only encourages more preaching and polarity...it decreases those prone to polar thinking to be moderate.

It is far more effective to have a simple respectable debate in some coffee shop with a muslim youth about philosophy than to wave a pickett sign around screaming they are all going to hell. Protesting mindsets only encourages defensive measures...you get more bee's with honey than vinegar.

If someone is promoting radical islam, I would look at the ones giving the message resonance. I can easily talk down a radical muslim, because I don't have a horse in the race...therefore I am dispassionate towards them and can bring the discussion to a cerebral level verses a dung slinging contest...look at the idiots in the news and commentators trying to stoke up the xenophobia and intolerance (glenn beck)...they aren't doing it to correct a right, they are doing it to create poles and fighting...why? well, first answer of course is ratings and creating news verses just reporting on it...also to make sure radicalization never goes away.

I agree with you about the corporatist, and I think that the corporatists actually want to encourage Islam. Oil has given them great power, but that power is drying up quickly.

Doubtful. There is some interesting studies going on about two different types of oil..one being our standard understanding of how fossil fuels are created..but a new understanding is slowly emerging that its not fossil fuels at all, rather some sort of deep earth reaction...whatever it is, Oil Fields are filling back up
So yeah, fossil fuels will probably be here for an eternity if its allowed to supress new energy tech...and corporatists will gladly do just that (supress) in order to keep the industry booming and the enslavement going.

Giving people in the western world a chance to defend themselves is what needs to happen, and that means an end to political correctness.

The means is already there...its called the law.
You can say what you want, you can worship what you want, and you can persue happiness in your own home however you desire, however, you must act within the established law for all. Its pretty simple really.

Just my opinion. But - I think betrayal had more to do with Bin Laden taking the route he did - then anything else.

That is the answer...not war, not sanctions, not denial...but rather education, and giving the common dirt digger a hopeful future...this is a recipe for total destruction of overbreeding and ignorant radicalism...

I'm all for trying to curb the growth of the Muslim population but if education and hope is the key to cut down population growth and Islamic radicalism, how does Osama Bin Laden fit into that theory?

(1) Bin Laden was schooled in the elite Al Thagher Model School. The school combined British style secular education with daily Islamic worship.

(2) Bin Laden was worth about $50 million.

Yet he still had 19 children and was responsible for 9/11.

I have noticed that the left like to bang the drum that poverty and lack of education causes terrorism. Yet Osama Bin Laden disproves this.

Perhaps it is Islam that causes people to become Islamic terrorists.

Just a thought.

There are always exceptions to a rule.
I am going on statistics...plenty of ignorant poor fools that have no kids, and plenty of highly educated wealthy people with large familys...but as a rule, nations that have high poverty and low education have booming populations
nations with high wealth and education have low population growth/birth. You can see this in world demographics year after year. india, china, denmark, sweden, latin america, etc...the numbers do not lie.

Check africa...check Rwanda and ethopia...you have brutal christian on christian violence going there, overpopulation, and poverty/ignorance.
When a person has nothing to lose...literally...they turn to intangable rewards and become radical.

Osama btw was a general, not a warrior. He may have worn a flak jacket, but he was not stepping out and fighting the good fight with his troops...he was sitting back in a mansion with his wives as others died for him. he isn't stupid. Consider the war in the middle east...who is fighting the war? our soldiers...now its a interesting thing to check who makes up most of the low level soldiers in the american army...you will find its very often the poor, the ignorant (high schoolers)...why would they do that? well, because even thought they are going in hot zones with a gun, the initial concept is to get something better in life...a education, a job, etc...that is why people join the military today...not because they have some grand desire to fight the good fight and protect our freedoms...but to better their personal lives.
And I am not slamming that...its a good choice (assuming they don't die in the process). But, just pointing out that even in our country...a semi wealthy slightly less retarded nation, the poor flock towards violence to improve their lives.
No, you won't find many wealthy family's sons and daughters in the front lines...but you will find plenty of wealthy and educated men in the desk jobs pushing for power and control by brute strength of the military.

this conversation is going off topic though

Cane is an idiot...his opinion is fine in regards to wanting to discriminate against a group of people...we all have opinions, but his views that it is somehow legal is totally off the mark and absolutely unconstitutional, period.
You don't want someone in a powerful office that has fundamental anti-constitutional mindsets. This isn't hair splitting on health insurance...this is a direct attack on the most basic principles of the nation...freedom of speech, freedom of(from) religion. Same as saying the states have a right to reinstate slavery if they want...no...they don't.

• Anwar Al-Awlaki is the son of one the most powerful families in Yemen.

• Yasser Arafat was part of the Husseini clan, again the most prominent area family.

These Islamic leaders who support terrorism against the West are not poor, uneducated and downtrodden serfs.

They come from the top of their society.

I could point to verses just as grisly in the Bible such as God directly telling Moses and the Israelites how hard they are allowed to beat their slaves (in Exodus 21 right after the oft lauded ten commandments).

Point is that whether its Christianity or Islam - in the West both religions have grown out of the bronze age barbarism in their holy texts. You know full well that freedom of religion extends ONLY until it begins to do illegal things that infringe upon the rights of others. I suggest you take a lesson and grow up as well instead of spouting off a bunch of criticism that have nothing to do with modern Americanized Islam.

The carrot stick approach is a better analogy. You get better results with the carrot, but occasionally, you still need to use the stick.

Yes, Glen Beck is a wacko, I agree.

Political correctness is also wacko. Criticism of Islam is not wrong, it is completely justified, and people who want to pretend that those who protest this horrible belief system are acting out of bias, and not factual realities, are not only protesting under false pretenses, but encouraging a radical agenda, and the rights of some groups to practice discrimination.

While their is a possibility that ambiotic oil can refill oil wells, the reality remains that those Texas oil fields are still dry. Should they eventually fill back up, it still won't be in time to keep up with current demand. Chances are extremely likely that as the middle east oil fields dry up over the next decade, those oil fields will not refill any faster.

Current political correctness practices are preventing one group of people from defending themselves. and this needs to stop. The laws have gotten tweaked to much in the wrong direction, and modern Islam, and the corporatists, seek to take advantage of this situation.

Here is another question for you.

Do you actually know what sort of person Muhammad was?

Islamic terrorists do. That's why they murder people in the name of Islam.

Muhammad was a warlord, successful battlefield commander, caravan raider, executor of POWs, enslaver of women and children, assassinator of political opponents and spread Islam by the sword. He also burnt people he forced to convert for not praying.

No, there are always exceptions to the rules
Fact...most religious people are peaceful
Exception: Some aren't

I was about to post a ton of videos showing radical christians attacking, killing, etc...but you get the point.

My cherished left wing conviction is centered in simple statistical fact...yes, left wingers use these things called facts.

Yes, many a crimes are committed under islam by a fringe minority that seeks to dismantle the west, destroy moderate muslims, etc...in the same way that the KKK wants the whites to go back to segregation and superiority, that many christians want to dismantle womens rights/lib, etc...fringe idiots are all over the place.

Are you seeking a counter to radical islam in modern society that also shows millionares?
ok, lets go down that road then.

Nothing like having a exceptionally rich family with nuclear powers lead a ideological war, aye?
Why did we go into iraq again? oh...right...wmd's. good crusade anyhow.

Would be interesting to see who runs this group

Aww hell, one more nazi reference can't hurt a thread that already jumped the shark...

says "God with us" (nazi belt buckle)

"My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was His fight for the world against the Jewish poison. To-day, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before the fact that it was for this that He had to shed His blood upon the Cross. As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice... And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly it is the distress that daily grows. For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people.

Exceptions happen...you cannot point to a handful of exceptions and say that invalidates the general rule..

I am a fan of criticising their religion..hell, I am all for the drawing muhammed movement (do it everywhere)!

But my criticism is protected speech, just like their crap is protected speech also, thats the only horse I have in this race.
Islam is a bottom barrel religion, it attracts the weak minded and fearful (as all religions do in my opinion) and used as a weapon by the top to achieve their agenda.

But again, I see this as a trait demonstrated in the wording of all religions, not just islam. I defend their rights, not what they are doing with it...I would cheer if the world suddenly woke up from this muhammed nightmare and said...wait, why are we following this idiot? and simply dropped it.
But
Thats it...a hope of a mindset change, and perhaps my few token measures will get someone out there considering islam to reconsider...I don't want new opressive laws to be enacted out of fear, because I don't fear their words at all. I don't want to give them undo attention frankly, and the more you persecute someone, the more popular they become

How about Muhammad enslaving women & children and executing POWs?

Is the Koran and the first biography of Muhammad written in 768 AD by a devout Muslim credible enough for you?

Of course, I don't expect you to allow facts to get in the way of your deeply held convictions.

Koran

33:26 He also brought down their allies among the people of the scripture from their secure positions, and threw terror into their hearts. Some of them you killed, and some you took captive.

33:27 He made you inherit their land, their homes, their money, and lands you had never stepped on. God is in full control of all things.

Note the above source is The authorized translation of the Koran.

www.submission.org...

A much more comprehensive explanation is that of Ibn Ishaq.

Ibn Ishaq was a devout Muslim historian and was the author of the first biography about Muhammad - Sirat Rasul Allah - "Life of God's Messenger" in 768 AD. He provided details about the episode mentioned in sura 33:26 & 33:27.

www.archive.org...

From page 84 & 85 of Ibn Ishaq's autobiography about Muhammad

"The apostle of Allah imprisoned the Qurayza in Medina while trenches were dug in the market-place.

Then he sent for the men and had their heads struck off so that they fell in the trenches.

They were brought out in groups, and among them was Kab, the chief of the tribe.

In number, they amounted to six or seven hundred, although some state it to have been eight or nine hundred.

All were executed
. One man turned to his people and said, 'It matters not! By God's will, the children of Israel were destined for this massacre!’

Then he seated himself and his head was struck off...

...Now the apostle distributed the property of the Banu Qurayza, as well as their women and children, to the Muslims, reserving one-fifth for himself. Every horseman received three shares, one for himself and two for his steed, and every foot soldier one share. There were thirty-six horses present on the day of the Qurayza.

The apostle dispatched an emissary to Najd with the prisoners, to barter them as slaves in exchange for horses and camels. The apostle of Allah selected one of the Jewish women, Rayhana, for himself, and she remained with him as his slave until she died.

He had suggested marriage to her, that she should wear the veil (to separate her from all other persons, as his wives did), but she replied, 'Rather allow me to remain thy slave; it will be more easy for me, and for thee.'"

Anyone can sign up with a wordpress account and a site called Creeping Shariah sounds about as biased as a site can get. Might want to check your sources.

Even if, for the sake of argument, I accept each and every one of your attacks I could easily dig up plenty more for Christian terror groups, you know the kind that kill abortion doctors. Yet my guess is you're not in favor of infringing the rights of Christians in this country because of a handful of extremists. Islam is not the only religion with an extremist wing but to penalize all Muslims, to infringe on their Constitutional rights, on the basis that a tiny percentage are plotting against us is wrong.

So will you support the banning of Christian churches as well, since some Christians are terrorists and some priests molesters? Are you a hypocrite or just a xenophobe?

How about it?

I am not saying islam is a peaceful religion, nope...I am not even remotely suggesting that. I am saying it doesn't matter. I am saying a person can worship Ares the god of war if they want, they can build huge temples of him and have their prophets of the religion be the most murderous and depraved people whom ever walked the earth.

They are allowed that...freedom of speech, freedom of religion, no matter how horrible it is percieved.

Ban this and you ban satanism, ban satanism and you ban luciferianism, then wiccan, then buddhism, etc...domino goes.

Nope, they have every right as citizens to practice and build whatever the F they want so long as what they do is legal. Let them start a church of Hitler if they want...who cares...the only thing that matters is that everyone should be fully on board with protecting their rights as citizens...not because we agree its good works, but because we agree the republic stands for the constitutional rights.

As much as I hate to say it due to sounding highly jingoistic, If you don't like the consitution, you don't like america and you get get out...to attempt and remove the rights of a group because you don't like their words, or views, is about as anti-american as you can possibly get....even if you are opposing a group called the "We hate America and want it to die" organization...the second you turn your repulsion of their message into actions to silence them, that makes you the one in fault.

Christian terrorist attack in Iowa ignored by Media

United States The majority of anti-abortion violence has been committed in the United States.[citation needed] [edit] Murders

In the U.S., violence directed towards abortion providers has killed at least eight people, including four doctors, two clinic employees, a security guard, and a clinic escort.[6][7]

March 10, 1993: Dr. David Gunn of Pensacola, Florida was fatally shot during a protest. He had been the subject of wanted-style posters distributed by Operation Rescue in the summer of 1992. Michael F. Griffin was found guilty of Gunn's murder and was sentenced to life in prison.

July 29, 1994: Dr. John Britton and James Barrett, a clinic escort, were both shot to death outside another facility in Pensacola. Rev. Paul Jennings Hill was charged with the killings. Hill received a death sentence and was executed on September 3, 2003.

December 30, 1994: Two receptionists, Shannon Lowney and Lee Ann Nichols, were killed in two clinic attacks in Brookline, Massachusetts. John Salvi was arrested and confessed to the killings. He died in prison and guards found his body under his bed with a plastic garbage bag tied around his head. Salvi had also confessed to a non-lethal attack in Norfolk, Virginia days before the Brookline killings.

January 29, 1998: Robert Sanderson, an off-duty police officer who worked as a security guard at an abortion clinic in Birmingham, Alabama, was killed when his workplace was bombed. Eric Robert Rudolph, who was also responsible for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Park bombing, was charged with the crime and received two life sentences as a result.

October 23, 1998: Dr. Barnett Slepian was shot to death at his home in Amherst, New York. His was the last in a series of similar shootings against providers in Canada and northern New York state which were all likely committed by James Kopp. Kopp was convicted of Slepian's murder after finally being apprehended in France in 2001.

May 31, 2009: Dr. George Tiller was shot and killed by Scott Roeder as Tiller served as an usher at church in Wichita, Kansas.[8] [edit] Attempted murder, assault, and kidnapping According to statistics gathered by the National Abortion Federation (NAF), an organization of abortion providers, since 1977 in the United States and Canada, there have been 17 attempted murders, 383 death threats, 153 incidents of assault or battery, and 3 kidnappings committed against abortion providers.[9] Attempted murders in the U.S. included:[6][10][11]

August 19, 1993: Dr. George Tiller was shot outside of an abortion facility in Wichita, Kansas. Shelley Shannon was charged with the crime and received an 11-year prison sentence (20 years were later added for arson and acid attacks on clinics).

July 29, 1994: June Barret was shot in the same attack which claimed the lives of James Barrett, her husband, and Dr. John Britton.

December 30, 1994: Five individuals were wounded in the shootings which killed Shannon Lowney and Lee Ann Nichols. October 28, 1997: Dr. David Gandell of Rochester, New York was injured by flying glass when a shot was fired through the window of his home.[12]

January 29, 1998: Emily Lyons, a nurse, was severely injured, and lost an eye, in the bombing which also killed Robert Sanderson. [edit]

Arson, bombing, and property crime

According to NAF, since 1977 in the United States and Canada, property crimes committed against abortion providers have included 41 bombings, 173 arsons, 91 attempted bombings or arsons, 619 bomb threats, 1630 incidents of trespassing, 1264 incidents of vandalism, and 100 attacks with butyric acid ("stink bombs").[9] The New York Times also cites over one hundred clinic bombings and incidents of arson, over three hundred invasions, and over four hundred incidents of vandalism between 1978 and 1993.[13]

The first clinic arson occurred in Oregon in March 1976 and the first bombing occurred in February 1978 in Ohio.[14] Incidents have included:

December 25, 1984: An abortion clinic and two physicians' offices in Pensacola, Florida were bombed in the early morning of Christmas Day by a quartet of young people (Matt Goldsby, Jimmy Simmons, Kathy Simmons, Kaye Wiggins) who later called the bombings "a gift to Jesus on his birthday."[15][16][17]

May 21, 1998: Three people were injured when acid was poured at the entrances of five abortion clinics in Miami, Florida.[18]

October 1999: Martin Uphoff set fire to a Planned Parenthood clinic in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, causing US$100 worth of damage. He was later sentenced to 60 months in prison.[19]

Some emphasis added, due to the length of the list I couldn't include all the incidents on record but you can visit the link if you'd like: Source. If you look into these the vast majority of them are linked to religion.

Here's one of many Christian terror groups:

Army of God

So please answer my question, are you a hypocrite or a xenophobe? Will you also stand for the banning of Christian churches on the grounds that a tiny percentage of Christians are also terrorists?
