I found this while surfing Yahoo, by the way, so it's news that my whole country/possibly the world may see.

My question is this: do people actually think these sorts of things are signs, sort of like a Protestant version of stigmata? Or do they just think it's cool in a novelty kind of way?

I don't see the resemblance. I remember His face quite clearly and that looks nothing like Him. Point being, all of these people saying its the face of Jesus have never seen the face of Jesus so what gives? It could the face of Nimrod for all we know.

Well I know that if I were Jesus and had the chance to make my message of peace to the entire world, I would make sure to do it at the home of low low prices - Walmart.

So, where do you think Mohammad or Buddah choose to appear?!?

Here's the picture of the Receipt, and I gotta say it really does look like a face.

Exactly! That's exactly who I thought of when I first saw it. Perhaps it's a sign of the second coming of the USSR.

I really dislike these "Stories" If you look hard enough at any pattern in a piece of wood or a stain on a cloth for example, you will start to cognitively piece previously seen images together..

Looks like Abraham Lincoln to me.

Maybe it's my eyes?

I think that they took a lighter to a crucifix , warmed up the face good and hot and wrapped the reciept real quick like over it.

The paper reacts to heat after all.

Could this be my first debunk? If so, WooHoo!

Well Receipts only show text when heated, so this is very likely..

Yeah, I know. I've heard it referred to as "facial matrixing", I believe. Our brains are programmed to seek out and make us perceive patterns even where none exist.
