Uk couple win $260,000,000

A UK couple has just come forward as winning the biggest Euro Millions jackpot in history.

The lottery rolled over 14 times, which amounted to just over £161,000,000.

The couple has just been on live tv discussing what they are going to do with their new found wealth. They are a 60s something couple from Scotland.

Now....you have to wonder if it was the right thing to do....coming forward.? Obviously Camelot were very persuasive in getting the couple to come forward and go public, as it was the biggest ever cash prize in European history.

I wouldnt come forward. Too many crazies and crazy family member that would come out of the wood work.

Hopefully they do some philanthropy and try to make the world a better place with their money.

Exactly.....everyone you have ever met is going to think they are entitled to a slice of your massive winnings.

These people have been on benefits for nearly 11 years, so im happy for them in one way. They were talking about how the wife had just got back from a 3 week holiday to the USA, how they have 2 cars, live in a villa by the sea side.....all this on benefits???

At the moment Camelot are calling the shots, telling them who to employ to help them spend their money, who to employ to start a charity etc....no one wanted to help them with their money before, but now they have hordes of people asking them if they need help. No doubt their will be a lot of solicitors that make a lot of money from advising them how to spend this cash.

Id want 24/7 security from this point on if i had gone public with my winnings. Their are sick weirdo's out there that would abduct the kids to get a ransom. Although this money will give them tremendous opportunities it will also hinder them for some time to come...imo

Maybe its retirement benefits and not social welfare benefits. Either way the meek have inherited 280 million dollars.
