All the squirrels around here are no longer scared of humans. The neighbor feeds them so I will be sitting out back and they actually jump in your lap. To be honest the first time freaked me the hell out and he almost got batted across the yard. Well this went on for abut 3 yrs. But last year we got a puppy so I started. Hashing them off with the hose.

I didn't want them to bite my dog.or have him hurt them when he was outside.

Start throwing unsalted peanuts outside of your house. You will have squirrels literally knocking on your door for more.
