Arabs' view of Obama, US plunge

Two years after US President Barack Obama's call for a "new beginning" in relations with the Muslim world, his popularity among Arabs has nosedived, a poll released Wednesday shows.

In fact, the two issues on which the US administration has invested "considerable energy — the Palestinian issue and engagement with the Muslim world — receive the lowest approval ratings," the survey found.

Fewer than nine percent of those polled said the Obama administration has handled the two key issues well.

We all know about his speeches early in his Presidency, but like all the promises he made to the American people, what he told the Arabs during his early visits has also been seen to be lies.

The article goes on to say his popularity is even less than that of Bush during his presidency..

I also note the country that favors Obama the most is Saudi Arabia..
No shock there..

I don't blame the Arabs. His commitments to Palesine have been virtually non-existent and have not deviated much from Clintons.

He hasn't done much to help the Arab world either. Extending drone strikes into Yemen and Somalia, while waging war on Libya in accordance with NATO. He hasn't met any of his verbal commitments either.
