Because they were doing their job, of course. Florida's corrupt government won't allow good people to expose the banks scamming everyone.

Foreclosure fraud investigators forced out at attorney general's office

A lead foreclosure fraud investigator for the state said she and a colleague were forced to resign from the Florida attorney general's office, unexpectedly ending their nearly yearlong pursuit to hold law firms and banks accountable.

Former Assistant Attorney General Theresa Edwards and colleague June Clarkson had been investigating the state's so-called "foreclosure mills," uncovering evidence of legal malpractice that also implicated banks and loan servĀicers.

Despite positive performance evaluations, Edwards said the two were told during a meeting with their supervisor in late May to give up their jobs voluntarily or be let go.

The number one problem in America is not the wars or the economy, IT'S CORRUPTION AT EVERY LEVEL.

Corruption for all these years created the economic mess, the wars, etc.... Solve the corruption and you'll solve a lot of your problems.

That's how deep the rabbit-hole goes. It makes me wonder just exactly who the higher-ups are. Who kills stuff like this, and how high-up are they? Our government has utterly failed at checks and balances, because many in politics have learned that if the majority are corrupt, then they can get away with anything.
