I chose the psychology forum for this.

For some, it is an issue. We confess the death of Jesus untill he returns. It is a psychological issue. This may lead to sadness and depression.

I figured out this could be enlightening on the matter of depression and where it comes from. Some don't exactly know the reason for their depression and I figured this could be the case?

anybody for whom this is enlightening?

Collective consciousness also comes to mind when I think about it.

i like jesus, this gigantic love. but as a role model, following someone that got tortured and executed, is not the ideal.

Well there are depressed people who don't believe in religion so not sure how the death of Jesus would cause their problem.

I'm sure it could depress some people but remember that the story has a happy ending so I don't really think this is the case.
