TSA Agent Caught With Passenger's iPad in His Pants; Allegedly Took $50,000 in Other Goods, Cops Say

blogs.browardpalmbeach.com

While most Transportation Security Administration employees are busy groping people or taking naked pictures of them, the cops say one of those employees was putting fliers' electronics down his pants.

The Broward Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Nelson Santiago stole around $50,000 worth of electronics over the past six months from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport's Terminal 1.

Santiago -- a TSA officer since 2009 -- was caught earlier this week by a Continental Airlines employee taking an iPad out of someone's luggage and stuffing it into his pants, the cops say.

REALLY? Is TSA getting dumber and dumber every day? First they over frisk passengers who obviously aren't terrorists and now they're stealing from passengers?! Imagine how many other TSA agents who have done this and gotten away with it!

I personally think that the TSA should have a COMPLETE re-examination and COMPLETE change in agents.

Do you know who the TSA should be replaced with? And I think they will do a fine job.....all the ex veterans; many of them would now have experience in profilling and it would help to give them a job.

the TSA has 10s thoudsand employees at hundresds of locations - like any such operstion - expecting 100% honesty 24/7 is delusional

before TSA agents - the ` bogey man ` was airport baggage handlers - some airports were notorious

I think it is sad and unfortunate that people are blaming all employees of TSA for the actions of individuals.

TSA is the new punching bag, and people love to have an "enemy" they can beat on.

Whats really sad are a whole lot of people who are prepared to work for any amount of $$$ to feel between people's legs and breasts, inside nappies and incontinence pads, humiliating the elderly, young children and those with disabilities for a living.
