Could it be that knowledge of an outcome before the determinants of that outcome have been brought to fruition be the source point for the detraction from creativty that thuswise prevents new ideas from coming into existence?

No, it's called being possessed by a demon... haven't you watch "The Rite"?

If you have these "skills" you might want to call your local Christian priest and ask him if you could be possessed.

EDIT:
Either that or you might be one of the characters of the tv show "Heroes", the guy who paints the future

I don't think so. It's just a latent faculty called premonition or Trikaldrishti.

No. From a practical standpoint a lack of new ideas is a direct result of a lack of understanding of what has come before, not what will come in the future. Although, precognition exists by virtue of everything being part of the Infinite Pool, and therefore there are no new ideas and imagination and creativity are actually reflections of what is rather than what could be. They do not exist.

Perhaps not precognition, the ability to even realise that a past memory of certain actions leading to certain consequences will not always lead to the same outcome as experienced before, however, not knowing the outcome of an action, or even being able to preduct that outcome being the source of true creativity or in otherwords, an original consequence.
