India's Moonlanding Mission Now Doubtful

Indias previous plan to send a man to the moon by 2015 is beginning to seem doubtful due to the astronomical(!) costs of such a mission. The plan to send a man to moon was presented by the Indian Space Research Organization last year. This was criticized by some scientists stating that this costly mission would produce little benefit to India.



With Indias huge poverty issues, it brings one to wonder how this mission could seriously have been considered in the first place. It seems that the ISRO have finally come to realize this as well.

They better cancel it! India may have the technology, but it does not need to jump into the space race. Sending man to the moon should be the last thing India should do. India needs to improve its economy first, provide homes to homeless people, and provide food to so many poor people!

Indian government needs to explore its own land first than to explore the land of the moon.

That country has far more pressing issues to deal with than sending someone to the moon. They should try getting rid of poverty and the plague for crying out loud before sending another rocket into space or building another nuke.
