[RINGS] Frustrated at the DOTS?!?

I read it again and im sitting here tapping my foot thinking about the old slinky song

What walks down stairs, alone or in pairs, and makes a slinkity sound? A spring, a spring, a marvelous thing! Everyone knows it's Slinky. It's Slinky, it's Slinky, it's fun, it's a wonderful toy. It's Slinky, it's Slinky, it's fun, it's a wonderful toy. It's fun for a girl or a boy.

and I can not lie
you other members cant deny
when a dot rolls in with an iddie bitty radius
and sticks a round thing in your face

There once was this big red dot
It appeared on my screen and I thought
I've discovered the trail that they layed
but I soon was dismayed
It wasn't the dot that I sought

casting my mind back a while, mayb it should be SEVEN red dots?? & that was the inside joke. just a thought

Come and listen to my story bout a dot named red
thing rolled in and it hurt my head
Then one day I was in a hunting mood,
When across my screen rolled that dot, now Im screwed

A Red dot that is, Pain in my butt

Well the next thing you know Im pulling out my hair,
Kin folks said "Boy, you gotta get outta there."
I Said "ATS is where I wanna be."
So I sold all my stuff, except the computer screen.

Quit my job that is, wife left me.

i wasnt trying to ryhme it came out that way. Is this red dot the only clue? And the it is what it should be? Do they relate to any past clues or do the past clues not exist?
