-The Usual Suspects

The Usual Suspects is a must-see. Keyser Soze!

12 Monkeys is a great movie. Brad Pitt is in an even crazier role than in Fight Club. And Bruce Willis is outstanding as well. If you don't like either of those actors, you should still give it a shot because the story is awesome.

BW wakes up in a jail in 2035, and 99% of humanity has been wiped out by a virus. A group of elders offer him a pardon if he goes back in time and finds out more about the "army of the 12 Monkeys." So he goes back in time, and tells people he's from the future and winds up in a mental hospital. There, he meets BP, and some other people. Then a bunch of other stuff happens that I won't ruin.

Past or present (last couple of years) and do you like documentaries that have a catch at the very end?

Ghost375 has a good shout with "The Usual Suspects" - see my profile.

For my particularly biased choices I'd recommend:

* Enemy of The State
* The Hunted
* Hackers
* The Jacket
* Silence of The Lambs

Tis all I can think of at the minute

Cargo Pants with big pockets can save you $$$
Bottle of Water; Pack of Peanuts; Couple Chocolate Bars; and you're set.

I can see that you may be running short on time after watching all 1200 movies previously listed, so I am gonna go with a slightly different approach. If I see a movie that I know I want to watch, then I make it a point to not watch any previews about it, or read any reviews. 'Cowboys And Aliens' for example. I know 4 things about it: Cowboys, Aliens, Ford, Craig. That is all I need to know. This method does backfire occasionally, but I still prefer it.

Anyways, I had not even heard about this movie until last night. It was just released on DVD a few days ago. This↓ was all I needed to see, to know that I am going to watch this later.

Hobo With A Shotgun
I did read this↓ much about it, but I didn't click the 'read more' so if you want more........

Plot: A train rolls into its final stop. From one of the freight cars jumps a weary-eyed transient with dreams of a fresh start in a new town. Instead, he lands smack-dab in the middle of an urban hellhole, a place where the cops are crooked and the ...

Even if you don't share my same desire to watch 'Hobo With A Shotgun,' then I would still advise checking out the rest of the MovieFone site. I usually go there every week, just to see whats new on DVD.

I just watched 'The Adjustment Bureau' a couple days ago. It was pretty good. Its a different idea, and definitely an interesting concept. I am sure that many on this site, could believe that it is real, and currently happening. That's is doubtful, but it is interesting nonetheless.

ONLY watch Oldboy if you never heard of it and have no idea what you're getting into.
If you read any spoilers it then becomes pointless.

If you are absolutely clueless as to what Oldboy is or is about - then watch it - I think you might find its the best one on this page.

P.S. I also highly recommend a movie called "Rude Awakening" starring Eric Roberts and Cheech Marin - however - it has NOT been released on DVD - somehow I'm not surprised at that either considering the topics.
edit on 9-7-2011 by Forevever because: Rude Awakening $4 on Amazon for VHS

Since no one will probably buy it - best speech ever

Shame they cut off the ending where he says "Where is everyone going? dont you care?"
edit on 9-7-2011 by Forevever because: no Eric, they don't
