That hover bike looks awesome! Is it going to be practical enough for the public to use? It seems like they are still trying to find a way to make it go forward.

Uor cidys would collapse because of bad and drunk drivers flying into buildings. People in the 1950's and 1960's set their hopes up to high on the early 21st century.

I tend to agree with you, Paranormal.

Flying cars in the hands of today's society would be a recipe for disaster.....lol

If you consider the history of the Tesla flying machine, there may be built in safeguards.
After all the original plan by Tesla was for world wide power and transportation with
his superman like vehicle. Controlling the forces of nature can sure mean a lot when
moving around in the environment.

Whenever the gravity manipulating technology gets here and can be mass manufactured into cars, I would't be surprised if we adopted some futurama type commercial road system. In the city there would be say some electromagnetic markers that allowed free travel within those specific air space so those could travel in the city faster, and they could not leave those markers by magnetic means. However, once the flying vehicle was able to leave the city into more rural country side, the markers would be taken away, and the car would be free to fly within public airspace at the altitude the vehicle allowed. And as soon as the car entered another city limit the markers would guide the vehicle back to designated safe flying parameters.
