Zombie Apocalypse Weapons list

Well I know I wont win any awards for my ideas here but since in my opinion when it comes to zombies power won't be the main issue.(even a .22 to the head will stop a zombie) The weapons I've chosen here arn't going to be very powerful, as a huge amount of power isn't needed.

As my main weapon I would choose a H&K UMP .45. It's small and compact but packs enough stopping power.

For my side arm I choose the Glock 23 in .45

and for my uh oh I'm out of bullets I go with the old school police baton

Not to mention a few knives here and there..

gimme a blade/chetti/sword
it will help build up your stamina we are talking possibly billions right.

some meat piles full of chemicals that will decay their teeth (dropped off stratigically by supporting gov agencies they should be off loading weapns crates globally with ammo of course)

super soaker with gas in it to light flames here and there on random to trap them in circles of flame smh

a pack of say 200 hungry wolves telepathically connected

and some of them grade a plasma weapons who ever got lol

I have a crowbar. Gordan Freeman style.

My friend has a couple guns and he said I could use the 12 gauge.
That and the American border is just down the highway so i'd more than likely be able to arm up somewhere down there.

I think I would go with the Sig Saurer 5.56 "Pistol"(30 rnd.) a Springfield XDM .40 (16+1 Cap. in the compact model) and a baton if a must but I think I would go with a telescoping one faster draw time. I think a K-Bar is a must have as well and a shortened shotgun. Zombie Apocalypse!!!

How do the fast zombies come about if they cannot infect others?

I think regardless, the slower zombies would be the bigger issue due to a spread of the infections at an accelerating pace, each reaction would spread 10 fold.

I'm not a scary individual, per se. But I have better-than-average aim with both bows and guns. I'd be scary in a zombie invasion .

I think some of you, choosing bladed weapons, might be SOL if your sword/machete/whatever gets stuck in a zombie. That's why blunt > sharp. Bats > swords, as far as zombies go.

Exterior infection/dna degration non species to species infection.

I agree the fluid spatters would cause an issue with blunt object hits...

I think HADES and what follows it is real....

A .22-250 with scope for long range

AR-15 mid/ close range

Sawed off double barrel and 9mm Glock for backup

And either a machete or katana

plus I'll be with my dummy brother who wants to be clad in full chain mail so he'll be slow and I can get away.

nice choices so far, but none of these weapons are crude/improvised enough to achieve true warrior status. good options for military/swat team, but IMO the true civilian hero should always opt for any variation of the following:

baseball bat with nails
shovel
chainsaw
screwdriver/leaf blower cannon combo
super soaker/petrol flamethrower combo
cricket bat (fire/barbed wire optional)
lawnmower
axe
meat cleaver

my only issue with shotguns is if its an emergency you can't do a quick reload.So if youre going to use a shotgun use the saiga where its a magazine reload.
