The Amazing Strength of Air!

Can you break a wooden ruler on the edge of a counter with just a page of a newspaper covering it? I think so!

This was just uploaded on the 5th, I didn't quite know it was possible but it seems real..



A lot of rulers died that day.

Looks to me like the surface area of the newspaper absorbs the lifting motion of the ruler, slowing it down just enough to allow the ruler to break at the fulcrum point. Interesting experiment, I will have to try it sometime.
