Through the life of Jesus he fulfills every single one of the Old Testament Prophecies that pointed towards who the Savior/Redeemer of the world would be.

There aren't any like that to start with in order to be fulfilled.
If there are, I think it would be helpful to spell out at least one of them.
I see a tendency of some people on this forum to think of this idea of fulfilled messianic prophecy to be a given which they find completely unnecessary to use a single example to substantiate.

Genesis 26:2-5 The Seed of Isaac promised as the Redeemer..Heb.11:18

Real cute that you ripped this off a blog somewhere but how about explaining one?
Take this one here for example,
Genesis 26:2-5
The Lord appeared to Isaac and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; settle down in the land that I will point out to you.
Stay in this land. Then I will be with you and will bless you, for I will give all these lands to you and to your descendants, and I will fulfill the solemn promise I made to your father Abraham.
I will multiply your descendants so they will be as numerous as the stars in the sky, and I will give them all these lands. All the nations of the earth will pronounce blessings on one another using the name of your descendants.
All this will come to pass because Abraham obeyed me and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.”

Just a big hoax. There is nothing in here about a redeemer.
Unless you can actually explain any of these, then all these verses are meaningless and prove nothing.
So to repeat, there is not prophecy of Jesus in the Old Testament. If there was, it would be huge news.

Why? because these days, most follow the atheist fashion. atheists are atheists because they assume they know the truth; eg that there is no God. But the materialist POV is just based on assumption. think for yourself.

Jim Dewey, what do you think about the transfiguration where Moses and Elijah talk to Jesus, since you believe in Marcionism?

Actually I was putting together a list that took me over 1.5hrs to do with all the examples that would come to me and I had about 20 or so written down. While search for the corresponding texts for ones like: they would cast lots after his clothing, he would be pierced, not one of his bones would be broken ect. I came across that website. I thought there might be maybe 80 or so prophecies that were in the Old Testament about the Messiah, and I was surprised at this list given of more than 300. While looking through the list briefly I noticed a few other prophecies that I had come across that were not in fact listed there that would also be relevant. I could not be bothered filling in every gap that I saw in the works of this other person so I left that list as is. You originally thought that there were no Old Testament prophecies about the Messiah (if you told that to a person in the Jewish faith they would laugh you out of town) and if there were any Jesus had not fulfilled any of them (I can’t see how you can even make that conclusion if you call yourself a Christian). So I gave you more that 300 prophecies that were fulfilled in the life of Jesus that proved he was and is the only the Messiah. I thought when I came across that website with the big list ‘wow, this list is even bigger than I thought it would be, this is emphatic evidence for someone who didn’t even think the Old Testament contained prophesies that referred to a future Messiah to come’. What is the response I get from you...’all this verses are meaningless and prove nothing’. Well then what is acceptable evidence for you?

Gen.26:2-5..The Seed of Isaac promised as the Redeemer..Heb.11:18

Genesis 26:4 (King James Version) “...and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed”

So you need an explanation for this? In Verse 4 it says that from one of you descendants will come someone that will be a blessing to all the nations of the Earth. One of the largest themes of the Bible is the story of sin in God’s creation of man and how before we were even made the Father knew he would have to sacrifice his Son to overcome the sin problem that had caused a disconnect between man and God, a connection lost that was initially present in the Garden of Eden. Since the time of man’s first sin humanity has been in need of a redeemer to take the place of our transgressions against God’s divine Law (where the wages of sin is death) for only a sacrifice without blemish (without any sin in them) would be an acceptable offering before God the Father in our place. Since sin had entered man and been under its curse that would persist from generation to generation throughout all the nations of the Earth the Father sent his Son Jesus for us to be this sacrifice. Can you not connect the dots and see that what is described that would be a blessing to all nations is referring directly to the redeemer, messiah or whatever other synonym that you care to use. Your level of scholarship seems very lazy. Did Jesus not come from the seed of Abraham through the seed of Isaac??? Ah Yes! What’s the Issue???

Anyone can google search the terms ‘old testament prophecies fulfilled by Jesus’ and they can come find heaps of sites that show this information for them, it does need to be spoon feed to them by me.

You say, “Unless you can actually explain any of these, then all these verses are meaningless and prove nothing.”

Why is it that you need someone to explain the verses to you, do you need someone else to tell you how to think...the verses are by in large self explanatory. If you don’t accept the truth of the bible to explain itself then read some books like Lee Strobel’s ‘The Case for Christ’ and ‘The Case for the Real Jesus’ where this investigative journalist interviews experts across many areas related to the life of Jesus ect and with scholarly research shows what is accepted conventionally about Jesus and what prophesies he fulfilled.

What of this prophecy needs explanation?

- Born in Bethlehem:
(Old Testament Prophecy) Micah 5:2 " But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be Ruler in Israel..."

(Fulfilment by Jesus) Matthew 2:1 “...Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea...”

Predominately, the verses should be self explanatory. There are only some prophecies like Daniel 9:24-26 the counting of the 70 and 62 weeks time periods commencing from the time of the rebuilding of the temple. All one needs to know about this is the time period is prophetic where to God a prophetic day to him means a year to us (Google search ‘prophetic day for a year principle’ if you don’t understand it). So when the verses refer to a prophetic 70 week period God really means 490 years.

This hatred of Christianity is a telltale sign of the coming of the Communist New World Order.

For those still in ignorance or lost in oblivion, I'd recommend reviewing the causes and effects of the Russian October Revolution of 1917; the formation of the League of Nations and the UN. Find out the Who, What, Where, Why and How of it and then compare to what's unfolding today.

I don't follow Marcion in thinking the world was created by an evil God. I just think the Old Testament was edited by people with an agenda and in some cases are just wrong.
I am not saying that the mythology represented in the OT is not based on some sort of reality. There may very well have been a real person who the character, Moses, was based on. Jesus talked about him as if he was a real person but I doubt that Moses wrote every bit of the first five books of the OT.

Going back a couple posts, you said, "Through the life of Jesus he fulfills every single one of the Old Testament Prophecies that pointed towards who the Savior/Redeemer of the world would be."
Part of my reply that has to do with the post I am replying to right now was, "There aren't any like that to start with in order to be fulfilled."

Looking at it again, I can see if you were to qualify your statement it could be true, by saying something like, "There are certain details in the Old Testament that the writers of the Gospels used as devices to retroactively make them out as something which was fulfilled by Jesus."
An example I can think of is a writer saying Jesus rode on a donkey when he entered Jerusalem, so this means he fulfilled a messianic prophecy. That is nice but for you or anyone else to say that this does in fact fulfill a messianic prophecy, you would first have to establish the fact that there is a messianic prophecy to be fulfilled that mentions a donkey. You can find a verse in the OT with similar words but does it have to do with the messiah and is it actually a prophecy or is it something else?
This is the sort of thing you would have to do over and over and what you may find is that none of these actually were directly foretelling what turned out to be Jesus.

So I gave you more that 300 prophecies that were fulfilled in the life of Jesus that proved he was and is the only the Messiah.
Now you are talking about "proofs". What I was saying is that there is not any that foretold Jesus. What you mean is things that Jesus did later on that reinterpreted some things not talking about a messiah but now magically are by Jesus doing these things.
I'm not saying Jesus is not God's anointed but he did not fulfill prophecies as they stood exactly and how people in his day understood them.

Although there may be some hatred, I don't think various interpretations or speculation about Jesus are the same as hatred.

I think some believers are so caught up in their own interpretation that they cannot distinguish between other views of Jesus, versus hatred or blasphemy.

It appears that culturally most members come from a Christian background, or a culture where Christianity seeks political domination, so the nature of Jesus and Biblical teachings becomes very important.

I wouldn't see morally neutral attributes of our times as hateful. For example, a queer reading, a feminist reading or even an alien reading are not necessarily intended as negative. Only people who already see these things as negative (or demonic) would be offended.
Then there are threads that represent age old questions in theology: for example, the question of whether Jesus was demonic occurs in the Bible itself.
Mostly, the threads are in a form of a question rather than a statement, which allows for all kinds of views.

I've seen threads where Christians insult other religions, especially Islam, including one where their Prophet is burning in hell.
Nobody has gone that far with Jesus, so perhaps some perspective is in order.

But the transfiguration is an even that showed Christianity is the fullness of Judaism, that the Jewish scriptures were related to the divine.

OK, then what we call Judaism today is a schism that branched off as a separate heretical group from the real Judaism now known as Christianity. I have no problem with that.

What sort of problem do you mean, and is a part now, while earlier it wasn't?

There's a lot of problems with the Old Testament and I did not make them up.
Christians put the OT in the Bible so we would know where the idea comes from to have a Messiah, and what a sin is. It's not there to follow, and why you have two parts to the Bible, one the Old Testament, and the other, the New Testament, and after Jesus, we are under the new covenant, which is what "new testament" means.

Actually the old testament reveals the secrets of the new testament and the new testament allows one to interpret the old. Without the other, each testament makes no sense.

Which is exactly what I do so why would you think I have a "problem"?

I re-read this thread and i'd like to apologize for my ignorance/arrogance in the start of the thread, I was new here, young and don't really know what I was thinking, I agree with some of what I said then, but not with how I said it.
