Interesting article on Oregon National Guardsmen halting the torture of prisoners, only to be told to go away by their commanders.

So, when there are now no WMDs in Iraq... we actually went there to stop a dictator. Then we put new dictators in power. Can someone explain why we went there in the first place? Oh yeah, the oil is actually flowing.
