There are several movies that have caused me to cry, however I shall just name a few to save time. The Notebook (both the movie and the book actually) at the end, Lilo and Stitch when Stitch is in the woods with the Ugly Duckling book, and Frontier(s).

I dare anyone to watch Two Brothers without getting watery eyes. I took my kids to see that and felt horrible about how my daughter cried half the movie. It has it's cheerful moments but man that one really is sad at times.

City of Angels with Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage, Terms of Endearment, Steel Magnolias, Titanic, Braveheart, Brokeback Mountain, The Patriot, The Goodbye Girl with Richard Dreyfuss (the ending where he left his guitar) ... and I'm sure I'll think of some more later.

An older movie, A Star is Born with Kris Kristopherson and Barbara Streisand. (I know I probably spelled the names wrong)

There is an old movie called "Creator" with Peter O'toole that makes me cry every time I see it. Also Moulon Rouge. The end credits of Contact when they dedicate it to Carl Sagan usually makes me tear up.
I cried a little while watching Atlantis lifting off. Does that count?

Ok here it goes, a short list of some my favorite films that made me emotional.

The Ballad of Narayama - The end part in which the son carries his mother up to mountain Narayama, where she will die according to the village tradition.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/08dd0fb5efa1.jpg[/atsimg]

The Tokyo Story - The end conversation between the father and the daughter in law, pure Japanese wisdom.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/d26dfdd5f2c9.jpg[/atsimg]

Three Seasons - This entire masterwork is full of touching scenes. The scene on the picture is when Harvey by accident recognizes his daughter he had been seeking for weeks in Vietnam. He had never seen her in real. His soul is torn apart when he realizes that she is an escort girl. Their eyes meet and the tears fill his eyes. What an extraordinary actor he is.

This is the end scene. With haunting music and beautiful shots, portraying this unique culture.

Kikujiro No Natsu - The end when the man and the boy split up.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/f0ad1d31cc40.jpg[/atsimg]

Ikiru - When the main character sings the sad song in the club. The second part after he died. His colleges are all together during his memorial, they get drunk and start talking. They realize and admit what a hero he was. Deeply ashamed of their own cowardice they devote themselves to become just like him, to live like him, a full human being. A short scene after that shows that they could not change, they remained the cowards they had always been, The final scene is the most beautiful. A snowy night, the protagonist, an old man is sitting in the swings in the park he build, singing that haunting song. You know that he died there, alone, happy and in peace.

Midnight Cowboy - The end when Razzo dies in the bus.(already feeling it)

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/bed2fc3e6bf0.jpg[/atsimg]

The Straight Story - Many scenes. Especially the ones where Calvin Straight is driving in his lawn mower down the high way. Also his way of speech, his wisdom and loving attitude deeply moved me.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/1b396d2c8335.jpg[/atsimg]

The Deer Hunter - Many scenes.

The Futurama episode with Fry's dog Seymore.

I didn't cry, but I came really close.

That one always gets me close to being teary eyed. Like someone else said though, I don't think I've ever cried over a movie. Never even cried or felt close to crying over the passing of various family members, no idea why.

I saw a movie that gets me close to feeling the "dammit, I better not start crying" moment but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. Don't think it's anything that's been mentioned in the thread though so far.

My first long term bf, 5yrs on and off, took me to see this as our first date. He cried his eyes out at the end. I knew I loved him then. I wasn't in the least turned off that he cried, to me it showed he had feelings!

I have posted this on here before but I know someone who dumped his fiancee because she didn't cry at Titanic. He said she never really showed emotion and that this movie was one where he thought she would, he cried his eyes out. He said he knew then that she had no real feeling and emotion and he didn't want to be with someone like that. It is now a joke with people who know but it really happened and if you knew this guy it makes sense. Heck i have to agree! I definitely have to have someone who can show they have feeling and emotion.

For me it's "The Notebook," the rain scene and when she is reading his letters in the car. OMG I cry everytime! I love that movie, it's such a good love story...Real love!

Step Mom for some reason that movie makes me cry in certain scenes.

ET! Everytime I see ET during the ravine scene where he is dying I cry.

Gladiator, many scenes there too.

My Girl, when he dies and she comes down to his funeral service. OMG when she asks for his glasses, gets me everytime.

I am a sap, I cry easily during movies. I cried in Transformers 2 lol
