Haha that video was so fun to watch, thank's for posting it op. I could'nt stop laughing thinking how the guy had to piss and the cop smacked the piss right out of him. The only thing that could of made this video funnier is if the cop would have tasered him instead, then he would've pissed his pants.

This poor guy was gently tapping the window with his foot, he obviously couldn't tap with his hands since they were cuffed. FIRE THAT COP! Clearly abused his badge and position.

I agree and I am not a cop hater. I think he overreacted. But then again, this video shows no context. What happened before and what happened after? But if this is the reality, the cop was wrong and they should look this over carefully if they believe cops are here to serve the people.

Well he was more passive aggressive than polite...until he cursed and talked about cops...then that could have been aggressive.

For one, it's illegal not to let him pee. Oh lets be a dick and not let him? Fine... So were not letting him pee but he's being annoying. Smack him? Ok fine. If I was feeling like a mega dick and out of character..ok fine. Smack him. But I can't see how it went from smacking him upside the head...to Shoryuken-ing his face a few times.

I can see actually, he was venting pent up anger from the individual or life period, and that shouldn't be expressed on the job. What an ass!!

I agree. The cop may have been making a judgement that the person didn't need to pee.

That's why the cop lost his composure. He though the person was abusing him.

The cop acted like the car was an extension of his own body. He reacted like he himself had been kicked. Bizarre behavior for someone trained to enforce the law. I wonder if he would have done that if the drunk guy was an off duty cop. He probably would have given him a ride home instead of using his face for a punching bag.

This is why cops need to be recorded at every opportunity.

The officer in hte video got 18 months in prison and a blemish on his record. So, in my view, justice was served. I don't like the "in contempt of officer" law. On to the next topic...

(i have to pee btw, so i'll keep an eye out for any cops on the way to the bathroom)

you know why it was such a "nice" shot? cause his #ing hands are tied behind his back.
thats like applauding me for my beautiful roundhouse kick to a babies face. I might have just stunning form but it's on a defenseless target. if you dont have the patience to ignore tapping on a window or to let your detainee take a piss, remind me why you're entrusted with a glock on your hip?

As for the topic... so, a guy gets arrested (which by the looks of him, he must be such a nice guy), kicks the window, the cops warn them not to do it, he swears at the cops and kicks the window again and... what? You're on the side of the criminals now?

This is not a proof of a police state... this is a proof that "yo not so tough holmes and this is not the barrio".

I'm with the cops... if it was me, I would warn him not to piss on the car seats... just so he does it and I could right hook him again like that.

Whats wrong with ppl now...? Everyone against the police and defending criminals? One thing is showing the people's power when they're wrong, other thing is being a criminal and getting what you deserve.

All those violent video games got you brain washed? Hes not a criminal until he is charged in court. I dont care what he did, he could have beat his wife. Its not the cops job to punish him. He was hand cuffed as well.

Seems like the cop has some anger control issues.

Exactly the kind of person that needs to have authority and a gun.

here's what I would do, immediately hire gloria allbright as my legal council and use every dime of my 20 trillion dollar settlement to fund a website for reporting bad cops.

I'm all for kicking ass when it's necessary but I been in that situation and sitting in the back of a car for what can be hours after your partying all night and not being allowed to pee is a dick move by these nazis -

I got arrested btw over a noise complaint at the house I was at. They woke me from where I had been sleeping handcuffed me and made me sit in the back of a cop car for over 2 hours without cause then said I was drunk in public when that didnt work they made me wait overnight in the drunk tank and let me out at 2am the next night in the middle of nowhere and I walked 15 miles home.

There doesn't need to be any context. This guy could have murdered someone for all we know, doesn't mean a cop has the right to punch him several times in the face while he is handcuffed. It is not a cops job to dole out punishment. Their job is to protect the public. They accomplished that by placing him in handcuffs and putting him in the back of a police vehicle.

Punching him in the face while completely subdued is nothing short of battery.

I seriously doubt a police officer got 18 months for merely beating down someone in handcuffs.

Do you have a link to a story saying he did?

ANY of you posters that either found this incident ' funny ' or in ANY way attempted to make some feeble excuse for the human scum of a thug cop that assaulted a human being for no reason and while handcuffed , I can only hope that YOU find yourself at the mercy of an out of control psychopathic bully with a badge and that YOU suffer the injuries and terror of being helpless to defend yourself.

No doubt this pioece of human refuse ( the cop ) will be released from his comfy and protected " cell " at whatever minimum level prison they sent him to....cops always look out for each other even when proven guilty of heinous crimes against the people , and no doubt this bullying sissy was treated with kid gloves while doing his minor amount of time. Hell, people caught with a little pot get more time than this brtual, vicious, animalistic coward did...sick system when a filthy thug with a badge punches a citizen, handcuffed behind his back gets so little time...he should have done 5 years, hard time, in general population at a real pen....THAT experience would have taught him some respect, if anything would.

Thank God that this horrible example of a human being will never get another badge...no doubt he will law low as he is such a coward that he only hits people who are restrained...in a real fight he would be finished in a second...thats why he does the sick things he does..to get a rush and pretend he is tough...what a sicko..

ok i didnt read all 7 pages of this but i did watch the video. i dont know this guys back story at all. and as some of you may know i am a police officer. i can honestly tell you that the punch was totally un called for. i think he (the cop) took offense of him kicking his window and maybe has even dealt with this one guy a few times too many (pure speculation). i know if this happened here at the MINIMUM he would have been fired. INSTANTLY! if it would have been me i would have warned him once and once only. the second time he kicked (i dont care how lightly he "tapped" the window) he would have been turned over and shackled and hog tied. that is our procedure on how to protect city equipment. what you have to understand is i am not going to let you out just so you can pee. that is a safety issue. i cant help it you have to pee. when i am done with my investigation and we make it to the bookiung area i will escort you to the bathroom. what people seem to mis understand is that if you are handcuffed in the back of my car you are own my time with my investigation. i am not going to sacrifice my safety and that of my fellow officers because you made a bad dicision that landed you in cuffs. the only advice i can give you is dont break the law if you have a full bladder. or try your best to hold it till we get to a safe area. if you slip and pee and it is truely and accident (believe me it has happened) then i for one wont charge you for it. thats why we have trustees. they can come clean the car. if it is done out of spite because i wouldnt listen to your demands then yes i will stack some charges on you. sorry but thats the way it goes.

You guy's are oblivious. He is not KICKING THE WINDOW. He is tapping it with his foot. If he was to use his head they would say he's trying to hurt himself.

You can CLEARLY SEE the restraint the guy in hand cuffs is using when tapping the window, he was not trying to break it. He was tapping the window with his foot as if it was his hands, see his ankle movement? He was using the force of his "ankle movement" to tap on the window. He was not using his whole leg.

Either way, no one deserves a beating...

I wouldn't go that far. I personally know several people that could use a good, old fashioned beating.

This one was wrong on both fronts. The guy should've just held it instead of doing the exact opposite of what they told him to do. He really should've known that, in today's climate, he would get a...ahem...firm reprimand from the LEOs.

On the other hand, punching the guy 7 times in the face was way out of line.

If this was a Police State that vid wouldn't be on the AP and we wouldn't be discussing it here.

The cop deserves to be prosecuted, but the hyperbole about "Police State" gets a little silly after a while.

Maybe talk to some folks who have lived in an actual "Police State"?

and he refused to comply by refusing to stop when told to do so. again i would have stopped him before he was able to get really mad and break it. however i would have NEVER punched a handcuffed prisoner. even if he had kicked me when i opened the door. in that case i would have pepper sprayed him (we dont have tasers) and then hog tied him. what you dont seem to realize is, as i have stated, we do not bend to your will. you are handcuffed and a prisoner at this time due to your alleged criminal activities. i will maintain order on my scene in waht ever fashion i need and can legally do. you can take all those geneva convention article and such and throw them out. this is not a war. they have no rights and we dont follow thier codes. we follow the states laws we are in and legal precedents. he was not "tortured" by not being allowed a bathroom break.he was told to hold it and i have explained myself in that situation. i cant help that your bodily functions have you uncomfortable. i didnt make you do what ever got you put in the back of a police car. this is not a game. there is no olly olly oxen free or any time out.

1. What is the cop supposed to do? Escort him to a bathroom in the middle of nowhere? Let him pee in the middle of the street? Hold his dick while he pees into a beer bottle?
2. What would be so goddamn hard about the cop explaining to the guy there's nothing he can do about it, and apologize for the inconvenience. Because that would mean cops beating on handcuffed American citizens would have to behave like human beings. Zero tolerance on clear-cut instances of abuse. One strike and you're out. Unfortunately, there's more where he came from. This guy has earned a mandatory anger management class, and a doctor's appointment to test him for steroids.
3. Now, if the cop beats him, again, after he pees on the seat, I smell...well, I was gonna say lawsuit.
