FDA unleashes end game scheme to outlaw virtually all dietary supplements formulated after 1994

www.naturalnews.com

the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has quietly unleashed a regulatory scheme that, if fully implemented, could ban virtually all dietary supplements in the USA that were formulated after 1994.

But one of the little-known sections of the law required dietary supplement manufacturers to "notify" the FDA any time they used a new ingredient in their formulations. However, the details on how supplement companies were supposed to abide by these notification guidelines (called "NDI" or New Dietar

Well here it is
Let's just hope that this doesn't go through and the headline is just paranoia.

Or is it codex in action.

It's amazing how many prescription drugs are so very bad for you, caused many illnesses and sometimes even death but they are still on the market and it's supplements that the FDA wants to target.

Most likely this is not only about Codex, this is also about people looking for alternatives and the Pharmaceutical Industrial lobbyists want to wipe it out of existence.

Conspiracy theory or not, greed does exist
So I end up imagining the worse but hoping for the best.

The problem is, Are we going to be told these things through mainstream media?

I view NN.com kinda like Fox News or Rush Limbaugh. They push their agenda via sensationalism. If Mike were to remove all ads for supplements and vitamins from his site I might take it at face value, otherwise to me it's simply a once-helpful site that's fallen in to the doldrums of commercialism

Well, hate to tell you this but a majority of vitamins on the market don't work or have very little impact

Preach, it's like listening to Alex Jones/Faux/Brother Rush. It never gets any better, just worse and worse. And to think, I used to believe their word was Gospel.

If people ate right, there would be no need for supplements. The fact that these supplements are such a huge industry should tell you something. Our ancestors ate probably the most nutritious food around. Look at the people born around the turn of the 20th century. A lot of them lived to be well into their 80's and 90's. We are the first generation expected to live less than our parents and grandparents. It's not an accident, it's your food. you are what you eat! I am not a proponent of veganism or any fad diets. Just eat whole, natural foods INCLUDING meat. Get plenty of sunshine (vitamin D) without sunblock. Quit eating junk/processed foods and you will find your health and disposition will greatly improve!

After reading another post on ATS today that came from naturalnews.com (Infant kidnapped, tortured by Missouri state officials) im realy not sure the site is a very credible news source. As another member pointed out in another thread :

It is a commentary on a website that explicitly states at the bottom that everything is an opinion meant for education and entertainment.

I would take anything they say with a pinch of salt.

Personally I would rather have little or no impact than the major impact most me4dications have that are shoved down our throats by most Doctors these days. How about Pfizer getting caught for manufacturing and distributing unlawful medications with the results of paying a fine. If I want to think that vitamin C helps fight a cold so what? If I believe that multi-vitamins make me feel better so what?. It has been shown that the effects of the mind on health can have a much stronger healing ability than any or all medicine. Not only do they want to take away my health through their poison but now they want to take our hope away as well.

i take it when you go to work you don't expect a paycheck at the end of the month.

also i suppose your big pharma friends just give you the drugs for free.

also they don't advertise do they?

i can just imagine the the millionaire executives of these multibillion companies thinking of you at night.

what thoughts do you think they think of you?

it begins wth s.

I agree that Natural News has 'a point to make' with their articles, so often they will treat you to their opinions unmercifully. However, this is just confirmation of the machinations of big Chem, Big Pharma, and Big Aggro as we saw them taking shape over the last decade or so.

It may seem trite to imagine this as a policy designed to 'oppress' and 'control' people; but essentially, that is the net effect this will have IF you are of the opinion that the market should be "free."

The rationale behind the restrictions is clearly contrived; the notion that what a person ingests requires global governance is as obtuse as the notion that it requires 'national' regulation. And this policy is clearly the product of the global corporate cabal's direct influence, if not presence, within the regulatory bodies which are meant to control their behavior, not those of the population.

Regardless of the hyperbole of the reporting source (which we really must consider carefully at all times) the fact remains that the government/corporate cooperation towards and end to protect the corporations's revenue flow is strikingly clear.

The Codex we refer to is a definite framework for much of this activity. It provides teeth to the trade processes that the corporate/government uses to coerce and interfere with the freedom the market is supposed to have to match cultural and technological growth; thus assuring that long time old investments in older technologies and processes are not 'superseded' and rendered unsustainable... kind of what happened to the entertainment industry with the advent of the internet. Some of you may remember the Tucker car...which also threatened the investment in older technology the auto manufacturer's made (read the book or see the movie.)

The bottom line is, we seemed to have learned our lesson that "too big to fail" is nonsensical if you believe in a free market. So the natural mega corporate approach is to use the government to suppress business threats that might emerge to interfere with their revenue stream.

Can you imagine the death-blow to Big Pharma if the list of human maladies were to decrease? Or if a cure to say, cancer, were made available to the world? Natural supplements, unprocessed foods, non-GMO crops, all these things are 'opportunities' waiting to happen; all of which can not yet monopolized by the real 'owners' of our world. But the Codex and other such initiatives like this certainly represent a stereotypical 'business' solution which I would expect them to support strongly... considering that the improvement of the human condition is an 'externality' which has nothing to do with controlling all the wealth within a tight circle of beneficiaries.

huh?

If you're trying to support that site having some sort of non-biased integrity, I don't agree. It comes across as one-side reporting which pushes a self-serving agenda. That in an of itself is fine. You are right. Everyone is allowed to try to make a living. The only issue I have with it is for some to consider it a "news outlet"

When I first read this headline I though WOW!, the industry knows it has been troubled with corruption and chaos and is deciding to reset the clock to get it right. But further reading and it is the Codex wolf wrapped up in sheep's clothing, as many other bills are these days. This is an attack on the supplements industry through excessive red tape and costly drug trials so the drug industry can enjoy less competition.

It follows the directive of Codex where everything is classified as a drug. While long established natural remedies may still sound safe with this bill, they are also under attack on different fronts. Many natural remedies may also be under attack with this bill depending on how they are prepared and packaged.

You said it has advertising therefore it cannot have truth in it or it is one sided.

but the all these wonderful medical journals in which big pharma's "research" is published has advertising in it.

i suggest you buy one.

but according to you those journals have truth in it and are not one sided

are these journals not news outlets?

don't you think it is proper to see what is going on by big corporations who are using their power and influence to buy congress.

did you know that monsanto spend £5 million on lobbying last year or do you think i made that figure up?

monsanto must be expecting a return.

so how explain this one sided because of advertising.

have you received any "free" gifts from them...

such as conference in hawaii, free calanders, pens ,keyrings, short skirted long legged women with power point presentations....
