if you haven't got your letter from Hogwarts when you were 11 y.o., then there's no way you can learn magic. So go away and cry alone, you're not
going to learn anything.
/sarcasm
As a magic practisioner, i just can say that if you want to practise it, you must learn a lot, train a lot, and learn from your mistakes. The best way
to do it (IMHO) is to investigate and read as much as you can, then, put the magic on work. It's not easy, because there's so many distractions that
can lead you astray, you need to be FOCUSED in what you're doing.
(this is a personal take) and don't harm anybody in the road. They aren't culprits of your fault of vision/training.
You want to find a better job, yeah, you can, but i can say that there's less effort to take the normal way and search it in the "normal way". you
want to have social skills? there's a few rituals that can help you, but the best one is get a shower, go to a bar and meet some people in the old
way.
Magic works just if you have two things clear: INTENT and FOCUS. And for better results, lose any interest about the results. Things use to go better
when you lose the anxiety about the results (the "lust of desire" as someone said)
Go away and read some books first. They'll show you so many paths and is in you to choose what suits the best for you. Good luck.
